The UF-UT game where the ref called a one-way personal foul against UF after watching the UT player swing at our guy, and then not running clock when they should have and allowing UT to kick a winning FG, such that the SEC had to apologize and censure the crew, comes to mind as the obvious worst officiating in any sport, ever.
Those refs are sent it to keep certain teams undefeated! Just wait guys for the bogus calls!!!!
This is pretty funny. You are making excuses for bad calls BEFORE they happen! At least wait until the game is over. I think Bama had every good punt return called back against S.C. If the officials wanted to affect the outcome, they could have ignored the penalties and the game would have been decided much sooner. Different crew but still doesn't conform to your conspiracy theory.

Have you ever thought that perhaps the blocks in the back, clipping, or holding that they called on those punt returns were the only reasons you got such big returns?
Putting aside for the moment the question of whether there were bad calls and whether if there were they affected the outcome, I have to at least take issue with the claim that they did it on purpose to help out UF in a concerted effort to create a UF-Ala matchup.
Two reasons: 1) You can't keep something like that secret. It would just kill the SEC and probably the game itself for awhile.
2) If their goal was to ensure a Florida W, they sure did take a lot of chances.

Depends to some degree on which side of the stadium you are sitting on, I suppose. But it does seem to me that when the head of officiating runs screaming from the press box, trying to get the crew on the field to follow the basic, unequivocal rule to start the dang clock, they mess it up anyway, and then the SEC feels compelled to apologize, well, that sort of gives us Gators a leg up on the debate.
(I note, by the way, that the SEC has said this week that the personal foul call on Arky was not supported by the video, though it stands behind the judgment call as to the interference penalty, which is entirely appropriate)
When your two biggest rivals are the ones that you think are benefitting from the conspiracy my guess is you are suddenly wondering a whole lot more these days about JFK and Area 51.
See: clock should have run, no time to kick, Gators win, SEC apologizes. Even if you overlook the call on the personal foul, the clock was supposed to run and that is undeniable.
They talked about this on Around the Horn today. This officiating crew is definitely getting national attention. If they protect another SEC undefeated with BS calls in the 4th quarter America will be calling for their heads.
Honestly, this could work to our advantage.
They are about to talk about this crew on PTI after this commerciall break. I guess the SEC said that the personal foul penalty on ARK was the wrong call...REALLY?? Everybody knew that alreadyThey talked about this on Around the Horn today. This officiating crew is definitely getting national attention.
