I think UF loses to Bama, LSU, and FSU. I can see them as a 9 - 3 team, and was impressed with how well they were picking up on the o-side of the ball. Thier d has been good for several years, so no suprise there.

I think we will be about 7-5 this year. I was saying 8-4, but banking on UF as a toss up game. They were definitely better than I thought they would be.

If you weren't impressed by the Gators, you were wearing thick Orange glasses

Agree . . . They're good enough on offense and a little better than I thought defensively. As the season goes on, Brantley is going to get better.

They'll compete for the East whatever that's worth. In the Denny Green mold. As far as the Vols are concerned. "They are who we thought they were". A team that is still at least a year away from doing the same.

florida will have problems with physical teams.

offensively, we'll see if they can progress and not rely so much on demps and rainey. it's hard for me to really know what their potential is. florida has come into games with a plan and built a large lead, which hasn't forced them to do anything different. in addition, i can't really say moving the ball has been a problem yet, just the issues in the red zone. it's obvious that someone will come along and take the backs away from them and whether they can be productive if that happens remains to be seen.

i think the bigger issue is that their is no power running game due to lack of size at tailback and an issue with fullbacks and tight ends.

defensively, i think they will get better over the course of the year as the secondary gets better. they qb crop in the sec is pretty poor, so there isn't a whole lot of teams out there who are going to air it out anyway.

it will be interesting.

they are 10 times better than us in every aspect of the game

So their passing game, especially in the utilization of wide receivers, is ten times better? Brantley is ten times better than Bray? That is a ridiculous statement to make. They are a very good team and will probably win the SEC East, but they do have flaws.

I didnt bother to watch their game with Kentucky since that might as well be a scrimmage this year, but some issues that may or may not come up when not playing UK are there. They couldn't quite find that extra gear on offense to put UT away for good and the defense had way too many penalties. They have the talent to play with anyone in the nation, but they aren't quite back to that level yet.
