By the gators that is. We have a young team playing in a bad environment that lost their best player in the first few minutes of the game. They should have killed us, but they couldn't. How many games would the Gators have lost if thy lost T-bone or Percy Harvin early in the game? Quite a few I think....:hi:

If you weren't impressed by the gators, you must think we're going to be competing to not be last in the second this year.

The Gators will get beat at least twice this year. maybe 3 times. Their record will be no better than ours at the end of the season. Bank on it.....

Well, then Bama and LSU probably won't be that impressive, either. Maybe we can add Oklahoma to the sked and get some real competition going.

This is a 9-3 Gator team IMO. We're somewhere in the 7-5 vicinity right now.

I'd be okay with 9-3 and a legit shot at winning the East.

I don't know any UF fans, or anyone for that matter, penciling in a 10-win season for this UF squad.

The only thing that I saw that didn't impress me about Florida was how many INTs they dropped.

FL's rbs were quick and had great balance. Their D-Line was big and fast. Their Secondary was not good, but we knew that coming in. On the other hand we were slow starting on d but held out after that first horrible series. We ok and should be competitive against SC. LSU and Bama's d's are too good. We'd have to play lights out to beat them.

I don't understand why people think Florida dominated us. Sure it was 30-7 at one point but the game was much closer than that. Florida has MAJOR problems on offense if Rainey goes down. He is their entire offense. Our D-Line played pretty well and we had several opportunities to stop him for only for a short gain, but he just ran around us. Florida is trying to claim they are going to a pro style offense, but they are still a spread team. They have ZERO downfield passing game. They will be lucky to score 10 on either Bama or LSU. I say they go 8-4 or 7-5 With losses to FSU,Bama,LSU,UGA, and maybe SC.

Actually Florida is not younger. Sure maybe by the numbers but when you compare seniors of significance for each team:

Tennessee: Malik Jackson,Austin Johnson,Tauren Poole
Florida: Chris Rainey,Jeff Demps, Caleb Sturgis, Deonte Thompson, Jeff Brantley, Dan Wenger.

If take each teams seniors out of game, what does Florida gain 20 yards? Plus Sturgis was big difference in game.

And also, having Hunter could have helped us block a field goal, you know, like he did last week.

I think we lost the game more than fla won it. Yes I have a glass of orange kool-aid in my hand right now. We held them drove and scored on them. Love ole Dooley but where was his balls on the go for a field goal decision. you can't play big boy ball and not go for it, when behind you need TDs.

Are you seriously comparing Justin Hunter with Percy Harvin and Tim Tebow? lol lol

If Hunter can stay healthy for the remainder of his career, hell yes. PS. Several of the experts on CBS made the same comparison with respect to the impact of losing J.H. in a big game. But what do they know? Next time I want to know if the Dow is going to drop, I'll just ask you, since you seem to know everything.

I'd agree assuming they keep Rainey healthy. Like us I saw a somewhat one dimensional FL team bigger issue for them is their one dimension is really one player. JH was a big part of our O but luckily for us if another receiver can catch we still have the guy to deliver the ball.
