Sorry Ducks, I just couldn't Take It Anymore....

I comprehend just fine. And you getting dogged is the way it should be. Win something and maybe that won't happen. Until then all you'll be known for your Oscars-like uniform changes

lol......it is funny when the mighty have fallen so far and they don't even know it.

You can't even come up with something real to say. Can you contribute something other than what the rest of you say? We were screwed out of a title game in 2001. How can we win it if we are kept out? A blown knee kept us out again in 2007. Oh we have had our chances and we have had bad luck, for anyone to think we are no good is fine with me. Those will just be the fans that are talking to themselves on the way home saying....what the hell happened?

This isn't the past brah, this is the present......you will see.....lol

sorry I just see lots of excuses in there. Woulda, coulda, shoulda from our duck visitors seems to be common. Well that and the fact their Oregon gear still has the price tags on it.

but 2001 they were screwed (UT and Miami would have beaten them like a rented mule if they got a shot) and 2007 the blown knee (forget UT won a NC when their AA tailback blew his out). You just don't get it bassman

Oregon Ducks rundown: The Ducks' next challenge? Neyland Stadium | OregonLive.com

Wow, nice to hear all the confidence from the "Mighty Ducks" of Oregon! I remember the good old days myself, when Tennessee was a perennial contender. The content of this message board suggest most of the Oregon fans on here were not alive 14 years ago. You might not be aware of this, but you guys sucked pretty bad YOUR WHOLE HISTORY UP UNTIL THAT POINT. Reference: Oregon Ducks football - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Now, just 3 quick things:

1) The record at Neyland stadium for attendance is 109,061, Autzen Stadium record is 59,597. That is a mere difference of 49,464, so yes, you guys are pretty close... Well actually, you aren't.

2) Tennessee CLAIMS 6 National Titles, I promise you not all of them are legitimate. Really, I'd say we have 3 REAL and 3 BS ones. You guys CLAIM 0. Yep, not even a BS one.

3) You all have had a pretty good run since 1995. Take the last 14 years away from you guys and you are barely a .500 team. (425-409) Tennessee already had 5 CLAIMED National Titles by that point, with one more (and first ever BCS) LEGIT National Title 3 years later.

I know you guys are relatively new to this whole "winning thing", but please, do yourselves a favor and show a little class to the "Old Guard", even when they have a couple bad years. It wouldn't take more than a few bad years recruiting, a coaching mistake, or an NCAA penalty for your own beloved Ducks to quack their way back to mediocrity.

P.S. For the "Lucky Ducks" that get the privilege of being allowed to enter Neyland Stadium this weekend, please take your shoes off when entering the building. Like Moses, "You are on Holy Ground..."

Should I have done it? Who cares? They were talking crap about the team I have loved and will love my whole life. :salute::yes::birgits_giggle:

Very well done..........

Actually what you outlined, with a few adjustments, could also apply to Florida!

Sounds like a threat... We know how Ducks get when they are angry...

big difference losing your rb vs your qb.....I would think EVEN a tennessee fan would realize that. A moderator no less.....can't wait to wipe that smile off your face:)

you will still have excuses I am sure though....

General Neyland's 7 Maxims

1. The team that makes the fewest mistakes will win.
2. Play for and make the breaks and when one comes your way - SCORE.
3. If at first the game - or the breaks - go against you, don't let up... put on more steam.
4. Protect our kickers, our QB, our lead and our ball game.
5. Ball, oskie, cover, block, cut and slice, pursue and gang tackle... for this is the WINNING EDGE.
6. Press the kicking game. Here is where the breaks are made.
7. Carry the fight to our opponent and keep it there for 60 minutes.

These are not General Neyland's Maxims for crap talking. They are for winning the game. Fornatuely, we still actually play football games for a reason.

Saturday cannot come soon enough.

not after what he was doing to defenses with our new starting qb but I'm guessing that goes back past your CFB watching days. Or maybe you were a fan of another "contender" back then?

and I will always smile because I'm a Tennessee Volunteer. UOE would have to play 50 more years to give you the football I've experienced during my life

Portland Duck could you give us an example of an excuse...

I thought you were a legit fan when you first started posting, but it is obvious that you are a troll, and the worst kind of one. Tennessee is down and Oregon should win on Saturday, but any fan with any class and any knowledge of college football wouldn't behave like yourself.

If Oregon does happen to win Saturday, you should enjoy it, but realize it would take a lifetime of this kind of football to catch up to where Tennessee is. Oregon's trophy case is as empty as your opinions and posts.

My advice to Oregon would be "Crow while you are on top, because nobody is going to listen when you are on the bottom"

One guy said this

Take some time this week to read over the posts in the Knoxville and Nashville papers, the vibe is that UT is going to show Oregon what SEC Football is all about. Those rubes from Tennessee are totally delusional, and way off base it is rather entertaining. I think Oregon will win by 10+ points, but the events that took place at Autzen this past Saturday vs. the Lobos (those days happen once every four/five years).
