It was, I was all of 6 then and just knew him as Mr. Doug, but the more my passion for football grew and my blood turned to orange I understand who he is and what he accomplished. A class act all the way. A monster of a man, but super nice.

He said a lot of good stuff about the team and their fight and determination prior to the game, and the team play demonstrated that aspect during the game... I like how he is managing pressers this year.

You are another moron in this fanbase that has no idea what the coach walked into. You obviously believe that because they put on orange and wear a power T they will magically win games. Guess what...thats not how it works, You should get back in the kitchen just like the women...because that is what you are, a woman. There is improvement happening..they get better week to week. Talk to me at the end of the year. Few facts for you 5-7, 6-7, 7-6, 5-7. Last 4 year records..that is where we have been talent wise a$$hat.

well if he could coach bray not to throw off his back foot and throw a int then fumble on the last too drives. so many missed tackles. if the other kicker was better why in the hell was he not kicking to start.let one get by

It's really sad how uneducated about college football most of our fanbase really is.

We don't even have SEC type players at all positions on our starting lineup and we certainly don't have SEC type players with experience for a solid 2 deep roster for good rotations in and out of the games.

Other top SEC teams are stockpiled with much better talent all over their entire player rosters and we simply are NOT there...YET!

In spite of having much less talent and depth our Tennessee footVols took it to the number 5 ranked team in the country and scared the crap out of them for 4 solid quarters.

With 2 or 3 plays going differently our footVol players could have Won that game even with much less talent and depth.

CDD and staff are doing a good job despite all the idiots around here calling for them to be fired.

Changing to a 3-4 D takes 2 years in the NFL to get it down and we're only in game 5 so mistakes will keep happening but by next season our D will be really tough and we've seen them be tough to move the ball on many times already this year.

We have freshmen and Sophs playing alot and many of them are really good football players that CDD brought in but they don't know the playbook yet and don't have enough real game experience yet.

Only idiots that know nothing about college football don't see our team getting better every year and sometimes better every game.

I want alot of Wins right now too but that's just not how college football works and it takes several years of good recruiting to be able to compete and Win against the top teams in the SEC.

I sure wish our fanbase actually knew how college football works and how long it takes to rebuild a program back into a national powerhouse.

The best coaches in the world can't compete in the SEC without lots of good players and a solid 2 deep rotation and we're just not there yet.

I'm very proud of our coaches and the kids for playing their hearts out and almost upsetting the 5th ranked team in the country.

We finally saw some real, hard hitting, never give up Tennessee football today and I liked it.

1. Dooley doesn't play the game, he just coaches.
2. Dooley didn't drop passes that would have mad a huge difference.
3. Dooley didn't fumble the ball and give the ball back to a dangerous GA team.
4. Dooley didn't throw interceptions and give the ball back to a dangerous GA team.
5. Dooley didn't let RBs and WRs run right by him or break tackles and score.

The only thing I'd fault CDD with is that he hasn't put a mean streak into his players. Players who whether up by 50 or down by 50 are still trying to knock the holly tree off its berries. And no my last sentence isn't a typo.

i really wonder if the players fear dooley for their play on the field. i don't think they really do or we would be 5-0 right with one sec title already. i do think the defense is starting to fear sal. sal gets in their faces and blasts them.

Since you seem to got it going on why don't you coach us to victory. Otherwise sit down and shut up, improvement of losing by a little instead of a lot. damn were making real strides in the moral victory department. That should be worthy of a contract extension "sarcasm"
