It will take alot of time to do that. I could not have a a new PS3 at home and not play it. You are a iron willed person freak.

I have my 360 to keep me busy. The live is so much more advanced than Sony and Live is one of the things I like most about xbox.

I guess I should also point out that the xbox is not profitable yet either. I think they are targeting 2008 before they make money off of that division.

But the attach rate required is no where NEAR 30 games. That is extremely high.

Does this study count 3rd party companys that will be purchasing these games? (i.e. Blockbuster, Game Fly...)

Yes. The calculations are pretty much total games sold per total consoles sold...

They are getting there. There were some reports floating around last week they are already starting to turn a profit on the machine with the implementation of the new chip.

No telling what in the hell that article is actually considering. I'm sure there's some big, bloated report somewhere. Still, with technology costs is flakey as it is, plus incorporating BluRay movies, accessories, etc., there's really no way to tell. I would guess 30 is too high but I have no idea what all they were considering...nor do I really care. It ain't going anywhere and plenty of games will be released. That's all that I care about.

No wonder you don't see new systems on the market. Anything smaller than Sony and Microsoft can't afford it. :wacko:

I think I have 15 games on the XBOX and I HAD about 15 games for my PS2... But I wouldn't get 30 games for one single system... there aren't even that many worth getting.

30 games?

I'd have to go back to my sega genesis to have 30 games.

With that being said... If they produce a new version of ROAD RASH, Then it would be one more towards their goal. :)
