I'm in I think people arte going to be really suprised this year. I'm telling you they still stuck in Fulmerville when it didnt matter what kind of team we had we was still going to be this brain dead boaring team. I think we come out with alot of intensty and play really well. GO VOLS!!

Hahaha... I hope you were drunk when you wrote this.

Props to the OP. UT is going to have to be patient the next 2-3 years while the team gets the ball rolling (slowly). We'll be back; we just have to endure it a little while longer.

I was happy with the Dooley hire....I for one think he will do a great job with our program...I was impressed when he hired Wilcox as our D coordinator....GO VOLS!!!

Dooley bashing is alot like Bush bashing. The bashers don't have a shred of proof mind you , but because of the silence from the staff some people think the accusations are true. I like Dooley and I think we will be pleased with the product he puts on the field. I wish he was more vocal to silence some of the critics. On the other hand I realize he inherited a mess and is focusing on righting the ship.
This is the guy to lead us back.

Didn't car much for Kiff but he was our coach. Dooley is also our coach. If you are a VOL fan you support the coach and give him a chance. But if he fails...................... Just ask Fulmer to finish the sentence.

that if you are a true fan you have the right to be careful who you throw your support to. You do however support our players no matter what! But to blindly throw loyality to a coach is not necessary to be a great fan. Remember it's the players not the coaches that true fans have to back. With a coach making millions we have every right to be skeptical. Especially if there is no evidence he can lead a major program.

Support the players but belittle our HC who has yet to coach his first game... Thanks Ghandi. You are a fountain of wisdom.

Be skeptical all you want but:

1- Stick with the facts. Don't make things up. Don't deny facts... you make a habit of denying things that run contrary to your presupposition that DD is a failure already. Like when you keep bringing up McLain when the kid himself glowed about the way DD recruited him.

2- Let those facts lead to your conclusions rather than letting your predetermined conclusions contort the facts.

3- Get over La Tech. It should have mattered when he was being considered and hopefully was. It is now over. He got the job. The methods he used at La Tech might have bearing on what he will do at UT... but his record doesn't. MH risked his career on the hope that he was catching a Saban or Tressel before their 1st programs turned the corner. Regardless, he has much more at stake than any of us... and Dooley is who he hung his hat on.

BTW, MH also hired Kiffin, Pearl,... and had the guts to fire Fulmer.

^^^ This is one of the most poorly written posts I've seen. Please do not embarass vol fans.

Derek Dooley >>>>> Les Miles

Disagree, Dooley is a planner so he is very well organized like Saban. Miles flies by the seat of his pants and it shows on the field much like Kiffin. But that's why they play the games; we'll see who is right over the next few years.
