Somewhere out there Phil Fulmer

OP: I disagree. I think he loves UT as much as we do, and he's just as saddened to see such a former football empire fold. After all, many of the folks that got rid of him are now gone.

I don't disagree with anything that you said, but you and I both know that it was a mistake to get rid of him and all of these horrible seasons we've had since getting rid of him is proof. I don't have to defend any of these statements about fat and lazy Phil, our record since getting rid of him speaks for itself.

Why? He couldn't beat UF either.
--
Really? He's the last UT coach to actually beat them. Beat Spurrier his last yr at Florida IN THE SWAMP.

He may have lost more than what he won vs Florida but he at least beat them every once in a while and salvaged some sort of dignity from this one time 'rivalry'...which is no longer a "rivalry" but rather an annual beatdown.

Phil lost his mojo when richt took over ga and kept his talent in state. That meant Phil could no longer be 3 to 1 more talented than his opponent. Once talent became remotely close to even Phil got whipped by sec coaches time and time again. He worked like heck lol but well his time passed him by as was made obvious by the large number of schools that wanted his services after his firing (etsu ambassador?)

If Phil was still here he would have had a couple of decent season in the least the past 7 years which is more than I can say for Fooly and Butch. I enjoyed Kiffins season more than the last 5 we had. Crompton did well and Hardesty was good. Watching EB play was always good too. Sad to think that Kiffin has been our most successful regular season coach since 2007.

Bc Fulmer got lazy fans deserve "pain"?

Whatever I guess

No, because the fanbase are so spoiled that they expected national championships every season. We are kinda like the fat, dumpy kid who has a good looking girlfriend, but he thinks he can find a better looking chick. He dumps his good looking girlfriend and then starts dating trolls.....
