Something we need to do this year to succeed....

Lets not pretend that depth is the only issue early in the third quarter. Youth plays a part as well. It was almost like halftime caused everybody on the field to lose focus. That problem should be solved this year as well. It will be interesting to see our coaching adjustments with a mature, deeper team.

U GOTTA BE KIDDING RIGHT? YOU know we couldn't run the ball, you know how many 4 and outs we had?not that many of our games had the benefit of tv timeouts. u ever played tackle football? I'm not saying that the half time coaching was great, I don't think it was, I get hit by 300lbs over and over and tackle 230lbs backs I got to have some relief/Ithink the DL (except for kicking) is our biggest concern, They have to have some rest.I think we have progressed with our depth, but is it far enough, probably not, but we are closer

3 and outs. Calm down a little bit, Scooter.

Yes, I think both overall and SEC 1st and 2nd half stats showed a lack of depth. The SEC opponents were just better too.

This year, we're two deep on the lines....We have the best QB and WR's in the country. If we can run.....then we're tough. Our WR's will have possibly more than one mismatch on most games. Then, all our defense has to be is decent to win some games and possibly a quality SEC win or two.

We're on the rise no doubt.

Basically, gets down to our lines. Last year our O line couldn't bust a grape. However, Pittman took a N. Carolina O line from pansieville to down right freaking mean.

On the Chris Treece Show today, they said today on his Online radio show on Tennessee Sports Radio Tennessee Sports Radio (great all day Tennessee radio) that if our offensive line will come out the first series and get an unnecessary roughness penalty like pushing a facemask in the ground, then we'll know they're ready.

Our starters were freshman. Our backups were more freshman, coupled in with a few upperclassman who should have been carrying the water jug, instead of playing meaningful downs in SEC football.

Thanks to Fulmer and Kiffin's piss poor recruiting efforts I might add.

 You're an idiot. It's like Obama still blaming Bush for a bad economy. Move on.

Wait, how is what he said idiotic? Was that not the truth? Our backups were either freshmen or bad upperclassmen due to the poor recruiting efforts of Kiffin's first class and Fulmer.

I have heard it said before, but we need to have someone who can kick the ball between the funny little poles sticking up into the air. It demoralizes a team when you work to get into field goal range only to have your kicker constantly miss.
