Something to Think About

I am not by any means a bandwagon USC fan. Over the course of the past decade I have rooted against them many times only to watch them win. Still, I have always admired the way Pete Carroll has built that program. I started watching alot of the things he does with his players to get them to relax and he has to be one of the coolest guys ever. He took over a proud program that was moving into irrelevance. He started the 2001 season 2-5 before finishing 6-6. The rest is history. I'm not saying CLK is Pete Carroll by any means. But he couldnt have fallen far from that winning tree. There are lots of similarities. Patience, enthusiasm, hardwork, and positive thinking will prevail. Give relentless effort and Go Vols.

Great post. I sure hope that is the path we are on. We have great coaching and recruits coming in. But you are right it takes time.

ya i just saw a post that said "Kiffin could leave now as far as im concerned"
the day before we played ucla, he was the greatest thing since sliced bread and now he isnt worth killin. its really frustrating to read what some "fans" think. you can criticize all you want but make it legit.
