There is no need to panic. Everybody just calm down. Big Phil will whip us into shape for next season and we can have a crack at it all over again.

What I feel like everyone is forgetting is how we even got to play in the SEC Championship. We were so many close calls away from even being there. I am sick and tired of the "well maybe next years" too but think about the South Carolina win, the Arkansas win, the Vandy win (especially), and the Kentucky win (ESPECIALLY). Had we not blocked that field goal against Kentucky we wouldn't even be having these discussions.

A little criticism is good and needed to heal because God knows we were all uptight tonight but lets hurry up and get that out of our systems and prepare for a maybe next year. At the end of the season there is only one team that won't be saying "maybe next year" anyway...

The gator and Bammer games should've kept our asses out of Atlanta anyway.

Too bad UGA and Florida will be 2 top 5 teams next year.

I see the Chicken Sandwich Bowl a likely destination for us again.

It's a good year when we get to fall back on BIG victories over KY, Arky and Vandy.

C'mon Papa...don't omit that Georgia win...that really was a pretty big one.

Still, we're 9-4...and that's been the standard around here for far too long.

thread starter didn't mention UGA. That was a good win, especially at the time.

Ever since after that Arkansas game where I heard Fulmer in the post game interview saying "I think we injured one of their backs in the opening play" I've been calling him big Phil. I'm not sure how the two are related but hearing him refer to Felix Jones as "one of their backs" I've thought the man was hilarious.

And yes the Georgia win was huge it technically IS why we were in the SEC Championship game. Yeah my point was just to look at all the games in which we were one break going the other way away from being out of that game to begin with. I keep having flashbacks to that Vandy game where I just knew all my hopes and dreams were about to be crushed...and then they roughed the kicker and after that I knew we would win. Gotta love Vandy.
