When Tennessee hired Dooley, I hated the hire, but I was still glad UT didn't hire Muschamp.

I'm still not sold on Dooley, but I'm still glad Tennessee didn't hire Muschamp.

We had Bray, and even with Hunter, I don't think we win. I don't get the Hunter = Rice crowd on here. He's good, but he's still incredibly unproven.

Ive never seen him compared to Rice. Hunter was out in the first quarter bro. Nice spin factory you are building btw

Pffft..what a weakass response. I'd take Dooley any day of the week and twice on Saturday instead of Meyer cuz I didn't like him at all. He had the talent his last year and could do nothing with it. He retired before anyone could discover his dirty little secret==that he was a mediocre coach at best. It hasn't been proven yet that Dooley will turn out that way.

Are you learning about football yet? You seem to spend a lot of time trolling on this board LOL.

If you would take Dooley over Meyer as your coach at TN, you are insane and can't have a reasonable discussion.

I bet the majority of people on this board are not that stupid.

If you would take Meyer over Dooley, check in here please.

Like I said before...apparently you are here to learn about football. Chin up...maybe one day a light bulb will come on and you'll become a Volfan.

Bless your little pea-picking heart.

Muschamp took over a team as young as Tennessee, and as they currently sit right now, as many as, or even less, scholarship players than UT. I know many on here find that impossible to believe, but it's a fact.

meyer recruited well, but we didn't recruit for depth. We had turnover after the coaching change, and we had 4 or 5 people leave right before fall camp, and 2 left 2 weeks ago.

We return 17 or 18 starters next year, and 10 of those are on a defense that has played surprisngly well in a new scheme. We bring back 4 of the 5 starting OL we have, all but one WR, lose a QB who hasn't played well, and lose Demps and Rainey. Those will hurt, no question about it.

The clear direction we are heading now is back to a power football team that Weis/Muschamp desire, running plays off play-action and an aggressive, big defense that allows the linebackers to make plays.

If you really expected a dominant season from Florida this year, you are not very bright when it comes to football.

Don't get me wrong, I knew y'all would suck this year.

Going back to pro-set offense takes different players than spread. Takes time to recruit system players and is no different in trying to change to the spread with existing players, it just doesn't work that quick. They will be back because Florida is loaded with good recruits, and they will look a lot more like LSU and ALa, than Meyers teams with Tebow.
