Something is just not right here....

We all can be like that but have you followed him much in the recruiting forum? Good lord, we go from having a top 10 class to being out of the top 50 with him and that varies from hour to hour.

I honestly haver been to the recruiting forum much since the DC search began. This horse crap has consumed 90% of my free time. Very sad IMO.

and as an avid fan and follower of all things Vols, especially the fluid nature of recruiting, you wonder why hasn't something been done. It would be like seeing a car on fire after an accident, you would just want to jump out and do something about it. clearly I am not that person that has the ability/privilege/job to do that. I just want things right. and in contemplating things, that's where i suggested maybe Dooley would look into the NFL, not that he absolutely will, or has, but maybe its something they are considering.

99% of mine and 50% of the rest of my time I should be doing other things. Its really sad. I need it to end tomorrow. Lol

I am in there a ton. I have noticed a subtle underlying tone that is no longer about how great we are going to finish, but more on the lines on how are we going to keep this class together. Every thread is littered with current verbal commitments from players who are now considering other school. It frustrates you even though you know it was going to be a battle to the end like always to get them to stay committed since they are highly recruited. I just think this whole debacle of losing coaches has really left us as a program thinking long and hard about where we are going.

I go to med school full time and to be honest, Volnation and the information really gets me excited about the future. I just hate that there is so much divide and pessimism amongst fans.

I'm not that negative usually, but the way this thing is playing out, you'll be able to look up the definition of "underachieve" in the dictionary (or on Google) and see a team photograph of the 2012 Tennessee Volunteers.

If we don't get this class back into the top 15 it won't be the end of the world. The roster is heading in the right direction and some staff is going to win here. This 12 class while its important it isn't as crucial as the first 2 were. IMO

Agreed. It's depressing. One day I feel so great about the Vols, the next I feel like we took one step forward and 1200 back.

If we don't finish top 15, 99gator wins his ban bet, and to me that's unacceptable.

I agree, I like where we are with our current commits that's why I was worried about the possibility of some of them starting to look around. We will finish with prospects we didn't expect, I realistically could see us finishing 17th but thats just my opinion.

I think that depends on what you expect them to achieve. I think a good DC is only worth 1 more win than a poor hire will be. I am much more worried about who our running back is that the DC. That might mean more than 1 more win.

its def a rollercoaster ride, bc i leave the computer just hoping to come back to hear some good news from LWS or skeeter. every day that passes, is like waiting on your dad to come home from Iraq, when you really know he is never coming home. I know that sounds crazy, ahhaa, its late.

Guys I have no clue who is next DC will be but whoever it is I will suppport him while hes here...I think the D will be good next year with whoever...Go Vols

talked to a player tonight and he said dooley was raggin on palardy for his tweet at team meeting...he (dooley) told the team he hadnt ever spoken and word to shannon when tweeted...also said dooley was getting onto other players about tweets (sounded more like he was makin fun of some of the stuff they had put)...long story short palardy's tweets are as good as his kicking

UF just hired their OC yesterday. Charlie Weis quit, when exactly?

A lot longer ago than Wilcox left. Lighten up. It'll be ok.

Really? How long did it take?

Oh, right. You have no idea.

...

It sure did take the gators long, tho. A lot longer than it's taken us so far.

Mmmkay?

Look no one and I mean no one messes with my precious you got it buddy? There is no way my baby boy is on the hot seat, he's only been here for 2 years and even though he hasnt done anything to improve this team on the field you still have to be nice to my precious. He will be here for 20 years no matter what his record is

fyp:)

I have been a Dooley supporter in the sense that we cannot judge him accordingly until after this coming year....The Kentucky loss didnt bother me bc we all knew sooner or later they were gonna beat us and why not have it in a year that we were struggling anyway....but this has gotten to the point of lets just go ahead and fire him now and start over....the recruiting looks like it is taking a hit anyways....so sacrifice a few in this class to get a top notch coach and assistants...keeping some that assistants we have now....and mainly so all this *****ing and moaning threads will stop...
