Something is just not right here....

Exactly what I am thinking. If it's Green with his insane 2-4-5 (that going to work against SEC OL?) or Spangler with his...non-pedigree? Yikes.

This has all just went on too long for everything to work itself out in a good way. Just doesn't feel right.

two words...Greg Adkins.....I guess that is better than the man with two first names. I hope this makes you feel better e.

Like it has been stated many times, it took Auburn and Florida a month to hire new coordinators. It took UGA 6 weeks when they hired Grantham. This hasn't gone on very long.

I don't remember time lines, but was that position open for 6 weeks leading up to NSD?

Knew Wilcox was leaving long before it was announced, but I'm pretty sure that has gotten the attention of Dooley's boss. If this recruiting class falls apart because we don't have a coach this weekend....it is on Dooley.

We have less than 2 days before some of the biggest guys we are recruiting for this class show up for their officials. If no one in place, then they cancel plans.

And we will have someone in place more than likely by Friday. At least wait until then to jump off the ledge.

I knew CDD was struggling, but I pretty much thought anybody could pay millions of dollars to get folks to work for him.

At what point does Hart have no option but to fire Dooley?

Seems we're getting close.

Plane tickets aren't that easy to arrange on Friday to come stay till Sunday. They can't come Saturday, since school is back in.

Is Rock bottom when Lance turns Dooley down because he got all butt hurt about CDD giving the offer to Sal?

It wouldnt take long if he didnt waste time chasing candidates that will not come here. But if he didnt chase them we would be calling for his job (like we arent already). We will end up with another up and comer, maybe they will have some DC experience, maybe not. Cant blame him for chasing the stars, but he knows hes going to end up with only a light bulb in his hand that may or may not light when you screw it in.

You're right. Wilcox and Sirmon were going West, if at all possible. When Wilcox's name surfaced for UCLA, I'm sure UT's radar went up. It would have been a bigger surprise if someone hadn't offered. Seeing as how he's such a planner, Dooley surely had prospects in mind.

I'm not planning to jump anywhere...but would be perfectly willing to give a shove off of the same ledge if necessary!

We have a winner! It isn't like there wasn't time to plan for this.
