Something funny at the game last night...

it was a funny game to be at.. the cheer after catching the kick was awesome.. there was also a huge cheer when the referee got trucked towards the end of the game...

kind of sad for Vandy as it looked like a VOLS home game.. After the game the Vandy players were walking from the stadium and got to hear the crowd of VOLS chant "I Said Its Great To Be A TN VOL". it was funny but I kind of felt sorry for their seniiors at the same time...

Ugly game but I will take a Ugly win any day.

The Vandy squad got booed out of their own stadium when they came out of their bounce house.

The V-O-L-S chant was overwhelming.

The Vol defense was calling for crowd noise...on the road.

Classic.

Watching the replay one of those refs stopped a crossing route from converting third down. That makes up for the PI on Stock. lol

What section was you in? Looks like "p" that's where I was anyways... Also most of the black you seen there were VOLs fans, I don't know why but a lot of us had on black.:loco:

Did you see me? I was the jerk clapping @ them (beside the cops) and saying "Good Effort guys"........I hate Vandy.

No, I didn't get one. I was in section P and had taken my son to the restroom(talk about pathetic situations) when they handed those out. My wife said that they came around and told everyone to take one and pass the coupons down. They never made it to her. I guess a Vandy fan knew that they weren't getting a taco and figured they would rack up on the burgers. lol

The black was mostly Vols fans wearing black coats and jackets due to the temps. Personally, I had orange on during the day, but had a black jacket for after dark when it got cooler at the game.

My buddy (a Vol fan) who was at the game sent me a text at the end of the game that said >> "DAMMIT - that running clock cost me a free taco".

Also, in the midst of the announcement and "small screen" shot of the starters for Vandy, the band cranked up Rocky Top and drounded it all out! I was in Section E Vandy side. They were...uh not happy.:loco:

The vandy announcer was annoying as hell and so is that horn that goes off when they score.

The announcer was a pain. Even if Vandy got a first down on a penalty he would say "AND THATS ANOTHER COMMODORE FIRST DOWN!!" Dude, its just a first down. Not to mention the fact I heard that wayyy too many times.

He was excited. He hasn't had the chance to say that too many times this year.

At a betting stand point, that was the most tilting game ever. I had UT -8.5. I thought I had covered when Janzen picked that ball off inside the 5. Vandy gets the ball back and scores and I thought I was screwed. We have it 4th and 2 at the 25 and I'm thinking, "Yes, c'mon Lincoln. Nail this field goal and I cover." Dooley keeps the offense on the field and I'm cussing him under my breathe. Poole takes it to the house and I rejoice. To top it all off, I had to sweat that final Vandy drive.
