Something else to rant about...

1st off you douche bags, Kid Rock was popular way before Pam Anderson came into his life. He got popular with a gimmick, he had a midget on his albums and on stage. I'm not saying he's the most talented person but the dude plays with heart and is 100% American. He does free concerts for the military and I was at Ramstein when he came there. He hung out in the dorms and at the enlisted club on base. The song they play is Bawitabah, it was on his 2nd CD (those are little albums to you old people) and it is definitly a song to fire people up. I'm sure all the blue hairs had no idea who it was and will request a little Porter Wagner next time. This is why so many people are beginning to say games at UT are boring, all the fines are 90 and want to sit on there hands instead of getting fired up to support the team. Check out Va Tech's music with Metallica rocking Blacksburg....maybe a little Garth is what you want but Kid Rock is what you get!

I'm college age not a geezer. The reason I didn't know it was called Bawitabah (or any Kid Rock song name for that matter) is because I don't listen to s***** music.

Most college kids wouldn't know good music if it slapped them in the face. I'm not saying KR makes great music villian but the song they play is an adrenaline type song.....I listen to a ton of different tunes from Johnny Cash to Pantera to tons of Hip Hop but I like the song and Kid Rock which is why I defended it..... I do feel bad for UT students now-a days....Back when I was at UT the Library had some really good bands that rocked out....Haven't seen a good band on campus in years

I'm not trolling, I'm ridiculing. It's what I do when some guy with a room temperature IQ comes on the board and starts trying to tell everyone how it should run. Now, go back creating top notch threads. I'm betting you'll go with something along the lines of "What do you think of Phil Fulmer?". That's about your speed.
The silence is deafening.

your an idiot. did you think that if you called everyone a d bag that we would decide that your lame excuse as to why we should like kid rock would instantly change our minds about that stupid song? it sucked in 99 when it came out and 11 years later, it still sucks. that song ran it's course within 6 months of the time it was released but for some reason, someone within the ut program decided that we should play it a our games.

the older crowd don't like it becuase it sucks and the younger crowd don't like because it sucks. in other words everyone agrees that it sucks. try not to be such a "douche bag" yourself.

Obviously the only choice we have at this point is to make the song You Spin Me Round by Dead or Alive.

I don't wanna hear Hank III whine about not being accepted in Nashville by popular country music on the loudspeakers...Unknown Hinson on the other hand...
