Something else to rant about...

Kid Rock is actually pretty talented, he just fails to show it with songs like All Summer Long. I think I read somewhere that he plays over 20-30 instruments. He is awesome on the turn tables.

That being said, he has kind of became a parody of himself.

Eric Church is stereotypical pop country.

I think that all warm up songs should be subject to Tipper Gore's approval.

Total fail. He plays every instrument his band plays and plays all well. I have seen him live 6 times, and havent seen a bad show once. BTW I'm pushing 50. I have a wide taste in music from Hank Sr. to Aerosmith to most everything in between. But to say he is no musician is ridiculous.

I notice you didnt mention Temptations, Nelly, Three Six Mafia or SwiperBoy for that matter. You dont have a true broad taste in music. you didnt mention any black folks. lol j/k

If the players aren't pumped by the time they hit the field then we have a bigger problem than song selection.

I said most everything in between. And I do have 2 Nelly CDs, a Temptations fan, as well as George Clinton & Parliment and the P Funk Mothership, Jimmy Rogers to the Commadores. What part of MOST didnt you pick up on?

I like it...but the problem with rap/heavy metal is...a lot of older people (Alumni/Boosters) don't like it...so you have to find a song thats got a good beat and gets people pumped up but isn't "offensive" to the older generations. That's why a techno-ish song is the best bet...

In that case, I'd be in favor of one you posted, Sandstorm by Darude.

I like the kid rock but my personal best song to play before kickoff would be (AC/DC Thunderstruck )

What would get the old geezers off their feet? Maybe some New York, New York or some Hank Williams Sr.?
