Well I think we all agree that Alabama fans are complete trash.

I heard some cheering real early from the student section after it happened... but none after it was obvious that Chubb had a serious injury.

I find a fanbase that has poisoned trees and committed sexual assault on opposing fans calling another fanbase classless quite hilarious.
I hate bama.

Our fanbase seems to equate trash talk and ribbing with obnoxiousness; when it's part of college football. I grew up in FL and have attended numerous games in Gainesville, both UT and random SEC games, plus the Cocktail Party, never had a bad experience outside of trash talk. Other than Tuscaloosa, Athens in 2004 was the best SEC away game experience I've had. I got 2 free SEC championship tickets from the folks we tailgated with after we beat them and they knew we had the upper hand in the East the rest of the way.

I'm a GA fan and sat behind their bench. I never heard it. The TN fans around us were great. I think every team has that 1% of fans that are idiots. It was a great atmosphere and my goodness it gets loud there.

Didn't happen. IN fact I doubt the students even knew he was leaving as he was taken to the north end of the stadium on the cart.

Anyone else seeing a pattern? When an opposing team beats us in Neyland, they gush about how we're such a gracious fanbase. When they lose to us, they accuse us of being rude, cruel, and classless.

Crazy how that works. Bammers love Dooley but hatred Fulmer. Same principle of fans perceptions of fanbases.

The only pattern I've seen is SEC east teams losing star RB's to the VOLS.

I didn't get home from Knoxville until late last night. I was tired, but had enough energy to watch the first half.

Note - The CBS coverage put a lot of time and effort showing Chubb on the sideline and on the stretcher. To 99% of the fans there, it wasn't apparent how bad it was. There was a game going on the field.

Guy next to me got a text message that said "Chubb likely out for rest of game". That's it. Information doesn't flow into the stadium as it does into your living room. Also - where the injury happened was a LONG way from the student section. More so in front of the UGA crowd.

One more thing - it was so loud in there, there is no way anyone could start a chant like that and have it carry on. It's like deciding to start "the wave" when a team is going for it on 4th and 2. Nobody is paying attention to you.

I was in section P, row 51. The majority of the people around me didn't even know he was hurt all that bad (the play happened at the farthest point on the field from us). I learned of the injury when ESPN cell phone videos of the injury were being passed around. The reaction was almost a unanimous "damn, I don't want anyone to get hurt. That looks terrible. That's three years in a row, etc."

I neither saw, heard, or even felt like there were fans who were happy or celebrating that Chubb was injured.

Was there, never heard any singing. Heard some cheering when it was announced that he was the injured player. Later everyone that I was running into was in disgust upon looking at the images of the injuries. I don't think anyone thought it looked like that bad of an injury when it happened real time.

All the GA fans were cheering when Tuttle got hurt and then they all threw liquor bottles at him!!

I was in Z13 just above where the injury happened and I never heard any chanting from our fans!

Not true and people were clapping for him (out of respect) when he was carted off. There was nothing but respect for a great college football player.

I did not hear the chant, however I did see the female Ga. fan backup and piss in the urinal trough!
