Does anyone actually know how many spots we can fill this year?
I know we went under the 25 last year. How many spots do we have?
To me, this is the hardest thing to calculate in recruiting.
Thanks in advance.
31, but 6 have to be EE
Any of the guys that are looking to commit before the month is out also early enrollees?
Okay, that sounds good.
If I'm a highly sought after recruit, I immediately start thinking about becoming an EE. No, you can't do the AA games or prom or graduation like your classmates, but it helps you to get on the field quicker in many cases.
I know some recruits don't have the grades or opportunities to do so. But it's an extremely understated advantage. Have 15 practices as a college student, and a whole semester under your belt before the fall, not to mention a semester and summer of weightlifting is incredible.
Certainly need a two-deep on defense. And any big time skill guys who want to #risetothetopI mean, theoretically, with 31 spots we can recruit a full two deep on one side of the ball. And I honestly think that's what he's trying to do on the defensive side.
I truly hope we have 31 spots. That's the best case scenario for our football team right now. A LOT of talent in this class, and with some wins this season, we'll get a ton of it.
