Someone explain why the difference in UT and Bama...

Sir, I never used the words "Alabama doesn't cheat" That wouldn't be right to say. Anyone and everyone is capable of cheating. I said Fulmer can be blamed for it. I never said it was all his fault. I could be wrong there too. I am not perfect. No one is except for Jesus.

If Bama cheated, they cheated. If they didn't they didn't. I can't be judged for the sins of others.

Actually it was Spurrier that turned Alabama in...do some homework Sparky

Holy shiz, I think you covered all the bases. That's a freaking threadkiller.

Go Vols! Let that be known. Im glad Bama can beat us when we are at our lowest. Watch out! Here's a fact for you KID: Tennessee and Ohio State are the only schools to not lose more than 7 games in one year. Bama has buddy. Yall need to thank Kentucky also for basically giving you guys everything you have. If Rupp and the Bear could have gotten along, Alabama wouldn't be nearly as strong as they are today. It would be UT and UK battling for supremacy in football.

"I'm glad Bama can beat us when we are at our lowest"

No offense sir, but Alabama did get a win over Tennessee the same year they went to the SEC Championship against LSU.

I'm not saying you are wrong, but how can you be certain that UT and UK would be the best now if Rupp and Bear could have gotten along?

Again, no offense.

You are correct sir.

I'm here to talk about college football.
then do so. We're not remotely interested in your platitudes or revisionist history. Football chat, we respect. We can take our ribbings and shell them out all in fun. The other garbage, just leave it at home.

The gaping hatchet wound act isn't very endearing either.

Then we should all forget what has happened in the past and focus on football.

I think Tennessee could do fairly well this season. What do you think?

Hello everyone. I will not be responding to past posts that don't have anything to do with college football. Say what you want, I have moved on.

So, do you think Monte Kiffin's defense can handle the offenses in the SEC?

Bear won the first and only title at UK in football. He left UK due to conflicts of interest. He brought Bama to the forefront in football. If he had stayed at UK he would have won more titles in football. I'm not saying UK would be the best in the SEC right now along with UT,but they would definitely be more competitive and Bama would not be what they are today clearly. We were lucky to be in the SEC championship game that year also. Fulmer clearly showed he had no business being there.

stop trying to change the subject. This is about you and we're enjoying it. Let's keep it that way.

I was asked why I was here and I said I wanted to talk about college football.

You guys told me I shouldn't be here because I was a young Alabama fan. Now you want it all to be about me.

I really just want to talk about football. I'm not a selfish person, I don't want attention.

If you are willing to talk about football then I will be more than glad to join in. But if you want the focus to be around me then I will not join you.

I just wish you'd make up your freaking mind so we can all move on.

So Kid,

Why do you think that Alabama has the advantage over UT this year with an unproven QB?

Interestingly enough I tried to do the same thing to your site and was not treated well at all.

There is a guy called lawgator here, he has like 13K post in 3 years. I wonder what he is doing here. I suspect he is not a very good lawyer to have so much time to post on another teams board.
Actually my belief is just the opposite. Just because someone spends time posting on the internet probably means he/she has done an exceptional job in their given profession to merit such a reward or they are smart enough to hire smart people under them to lighten their workload.:hi:

It handled NFL Offenses, I am pretty sure it can handle SEC Offenses. The key to its success will be personnel.

So Kid,

Well first off I'm an Alabama fan so it's a given. Just like a Tennessee fan would expect their team to have the advantage.

1. We are returning 7 players from last years top 5 defense.

2. We have a QB who is known for his accuracy.

3. We have 3 experienced RB's and 1 freshman RB Trent Richardson who is supposed to be great. We also have a couple more who can play if we need them.

4. We have last year's AP freshman of the year, Julio Jones alongside Mike McCoy who is a senior wide reciever.

5. We have Terrence Cody who is automatically double teamed on every play and a Junior LB (Rolando McClain) who was the defensive leader last year. Both of them are up for the Lott award as well.

6. We have a Sophomore LB (Dont'a Hightower) who started last year and is 6'4 250 and can run a 4.5 in the forty.

7. We have a DE who is 6'4 300 pounds and can do a backflip. Oh yeah, he's fast too.

8. We have depth this year on both sides of the ball.

Those are some reasons why I give Alabama the edge. I'm not going to guarantee victory because that is ignorant for anyone to do. Tennessee has talent too. But they have a 1st year coach and a new coaching staff. It usually takes any coach a couple of years to get things going in the SEC. This isn't a weak Big 10 conference we're talking about here.

Anything can happen.

Just because someone coached in the pro's doesn't guarantee they will be good in college. Kiffin might do well, I don't know. Charlie Weis figured out pretty fast that coming from the NFL doesn't guarantee victory in college.

I don't know why I can't post an Alabama logo. I made it small and it still didn't work.

I assume you mean your QB was known for accuracy in HS.

No. But he was very accurate in high school.

When he came in for Alabama he was good. He through a deep ball on Auburn late in the 4th quarter like it was nothing. He is also very accurate in practice.

Greg McElroy's stats as a back up: 16/20, 196 yards, 2 TD's and 1 INT. Not bad for playing only a few plays in 5 games.
