Someone explain why the difference in UT and Bama...

your rhetoricals aren't helping here. Clearly if you save my life, you have done me some favor. What does that have to do with the gibberish that you're posting on this site, to which you want civil answers?

Let me try something.

I think Tennessee has a slight chance at beating Florida. But Florida has a Heisman winner and they are returning everyone on defense. But anything can happen.

Let's see if my theory is correct.

Actually Alabama would be put on probabtion because of rumors. Everyone hates us anyways.

That's the most pathetic argument I've ever heard. Seriously, the minute you begin to think this is true is the minute you become just like all of your delusional Alabama brethren. I'm embarrassed for you.

Instead, just own up to the fact that you were wrong and move on. Alabama got busted by more than just Fulmer, so I suggest you step out of your crimson fairy tale into a realm I like to call "reality."

So the UT fans act like they are better than everyone else when their team actually sucks. You act as if everyone is just a piece of crap and you're God. Leave it to the UT fans to act high and mighty and perfect.

I can almost taste the irony through the computer screen. Just a few sentences ago, you claimed that "everyone hates us [Alabama] anyways," so it's obvious that you've got a very inflated view of your own program. If you want to bash others for being high and mighty, I suggest you quit implying that your own team is important enough to be the victim of an NCAA conspiracy based on "rumors." Most of the country doesn't give a rat's ass about what goes on in Tuscaloosa, so I think you need to adjust your perception a bit. Your program got exactly what it deserved.

The boosters might have DONE something wrong, I don't know. But it wouldn't have helped the team play any better anyways.

Fixed.

Also, how typical of an Alabama fan to justify cheating. You'll fit right in.

Well if you and the other Vol fans wouldn't insult me for having an opinion we wouldn't be arguing right now.

So I'm a waste of time? If I save your life am I still a waste of time?

Opinion? Junior.....you do not even have your facts right...now run along sparky and go play with you little friends down the street.

Don’t take yourself, this site, or replies so seriously. People have worked you into a tizzy and are just having a little fun at your expense. It happens to most nobs. Now take a couple of deep breaths and try again.

I'm not saying Alabama cheated because nothing was ever confirmed by the court.

So you think that every single Alabama fan justifies cheating. Way to go man. You can judge a whole group of people instead of just one person. You think we are all the same don't you?

If Bama cheated, they cheated. Nothing was confirmed so I can't say they did or they didn't. What I'm saying is that none of the coaches or players knew what was going on. All the blame should go to the boosters, not the coach or the players.

what theory? You've done nothing but point out the reality of the situation vis a vis next season's UT v UF football game. What do you want for that, a cookie?

Hello everyone. I'm a Bama fan and I'm here to discuss college football. We might have got off on the wrong foot. I hope we can put the past behind us and move on.

Tennessee has a new coach. Lane Kiffin is it? I heard he can be a little bit feisty. I hope he does a good job at UT. We need more competition in the SEC. What do you think?

Not all of them, no. But you'll fit in - trust me.

You can judge a whole group of people instead of just one person. You think we are all the same don't you?

You're not doing much to change the perception of an average Alabama fan, my friend. That's your fault.

Are you that naive to think that the coaches did not know that boosters were giving money to players? Seriously...

what theory? You've done nothing but point out the reality of the situation vis a vis next season's UT v UF football game. What do you want for that, a cookie?

My theory sir or madam, was to see what kind of response I would get when I said something that should in no way draw negativity.

Thank you, but no thank you, I do not want a cookie. I do not eat cookies very often. I like to maintain a healthy way of life.

My intention wasn't to change the perception of Alabama fans. What you percieve Alabama's as is your own business. I have no say in the matter.

surely you understand that your recently past interactions with us would impact our responses to some degree. Obama could walk in my office right now and tell me he isn't a pacifist, but it would do nothing but help shape my previously formed opinion that telling the truth is beyond him.

That is your opinion sir.

I think Tennessee is a fine program. I can't see why you would say Alabama "sucks" but that is your own belief and you have the right to stand up for it.
why continue pointing out the obvious. We are all here generally aware of the difference between fact and opinion. We also know our rights to hold and defend our own opinions. We don't need third party input to help us understand any of that.

Why are you here?

I understand that my past actions were not that nice. I am looking forward to having normal debates with you fine people.

I do agree that Obama is not a good man. I certainly wouldn't vote for him. But that's my opinion.

You judge me how you want. I can't stop you and I don't want to stop you.

I have no say in the matter.

Oh, really? So far, you've come to an opponent's message board, riled everybody up, justified the cheating your program got busted for, and accused everybody here of acting high and mighty like God. You don't think all of that might reinforce the negative image of Alabama and its fans for people around here?

Interesting.

Go Vols! Let that be known. Im glad Bama can beat us when we are at our lowest. Watch out! Here's a fact for you KID: Tennessee and Ohio State are the only schools to not lose more than 7 games in one year. Bama has buddy. Yall need to thank Kentucky also for basically giving you guys everything you have. If Rupp and the Bear could have gotten along, Alabama wouldn't be nearly as strong as they are today. It would be UT and UK battling for supremacy in football.

You have actually said a lot...Alabama dosent cheat..Its all Fulmer's fault...

How are the text book sales going these days?

Sir, I never used the words "Alabama doesn't cheat" That wouldn't be right to say. Anyone and everyone is capable of cheating. I said Fulmer can be blamed for it. I never said it was all his fault. I could be wrong there too. I am not perfect. No one is except for Jesus.

If Bama cheated, they cheated. If they didn't they didn't. I can't be judged for the sins of others.

You are correct sir.

I'm here to talk about college football.
