Unless you want Tanning Bed to be humiliated, you don't want to get into his academic record as a head coach. Cal's graduation rate dwarfs Pearl's. Then again, so does just about everyone else's.
I'm not acting like they aren't. It's the Pearlophiles acting as if poor honest Tanning Bed and Superfly Jones are being taking advantage of by a corrupt system.
I'm not dismissing reality, but this is ridiculous. How can the NCAA be so stringent on rules and miss this? Wes is a #$%ing cancer (per NCAA rules), yet has never been seriously investigated. I'll join the UT staff debate another time, but this situation is beyond absurd. The GQ article hit the important parts. Wes is in the relationship business. He gets to know elite players, who then usually end up in Nike shoes and sign with agents friendly with Wes.
Explain to me how WWWes has violated the first 'AA rule.I'm not dismissing reality, but this is ridiculous. How can the NCAA be so stringent on rules and miss this? Hat, give me one good reason why I'm not getting it?
I'm sure he's a "consultant" for Nike. He's also likely on the payroll of multiple NBA players. Think of WWWes as a hoops version of George Clooney's character in Michael Clayton.Without taking the time and effort to read the GQ article at this ungodly hour: who, exactly, does Worldwide Wes work for? He obviously gets a check from someone, somewhere.
Those numbers have been pulled up here multiple times. Pearl's graduation rate at UT and Milwaukee are dismal. I think the number at Memphis is now something to the effect that 19 of the last 22 seniors have received their degrees.Do you have the statistics to support this?
