I've never seen so much whining, excuse making, calling for coaches to be fired, clamoring about next years team, clamoring about teams in the past, or just overall CRYING than I've seen on this board after last week.

After week 2, these boards were full of insane expectations. I've seen posts about Bray winning the Heisman, being better than Manning, UT winning the SEC, UT winning the National Championship, and much more.

Heres some facts...

You're still 2-1

You were favored to lose to Florida by 10 points, and you lost, by 10 points.

The refs were terrible, on both sides. No one got screwed worse than the other team.

Your OL and RB's played terrible

Bray is a stud

Maggitt is going to be great

You have much better talent than the last 2 years, and things are getting better

The sky is not falling

Stop acting like Kentucky fans, you have 9 games left this year. You can make a bowl game and have 10 games left this year. It doesnt matter about next year. Support your team and understand theres going to be growing pains, theres going to be loses, but as a team you're much better than you have been.

If this is true then I gather you haven't been here long.

We usually do alright once we get over the loss to Florida. No more pie in the sky stuff. I will expect the "relentless pursuit of continuous improvement" to be felt after the GA game.

I'm good with all of that. I still think we are gonna be fine. We faced some serious adversity in an extremely hostile environment. The loss of Hunter was absolutely a shock and devastating to the offense, and I'm not sure how anyone can not see that. We now have a couple weeks to regroup and game plan without him, which we did not have on Saturday with around 20 offensive plays designed for him. That is around a 1/3 of the plays we ran. We will be fine.

Nobody wants to hear a fan of the team that just beat us lecturing about how we should react to the loss. Shove it!!! And get off of this board.

Last week: We're National Championship contenders

This week: Fire everyone and discontinue all athletics

Next week: Board administered with bi-polar medication.

We like football and we cheer for the Vols because its fun and gives us something to look forward to the other 8 months out of year. I don't get all these wannabe media types who want to judge a whole season based on 1 loss. As a true fan I expect us to go 11-1 now that we have lost one game. If/when we lose a second I will change my expectations to 10-2. No one has a crystal ball, quit acting like you do and just cheer for whoever the Big Orange puts out on the field. GBO, LMV.

I dont need a freakin reptile telling me to keep my head up and pat me on the back. I'm pissed about losing, just like I am every single time we've lost since 1970. I actually beleive coach Dooley has us going in the right direction but if I want to complain about our coaching staff I will and I dont need some reptiles approval to do so.

I try to be as objective as possible. Most fans I talk to (I live in Knoxville, and my wife works for UT) are great. But, I get on these boards and it just blows me away at how crazy it gets after this loss. I read through the predictions threads, and before UT played Cincy, about 40% of fans were calling for a loss against Florida. After the Cincy game, Florida got around 12 votes out of like 500. Thats called setting yourself up for failure.

I understand wanting to win, and as a fan I think thats our job. But, you also have to be objective. Several coaches on the team read these boards, The players read them, recruits read them, parents of potential recruits read them.

If you're expected to lose on the road against a team thats 120-16 since 1990 in that stadium, and you do, by the exact spread people thought you would. Thats not a negative. The team was down by 23 points without their best offensive weapon, and fought back to lose by only 10.

Thats not something to cause so many cliff jumpers

Typical of a moron such as yourself to allow the minority to speak for the majority.

There is certainly not a shortage of Florida fans who feel like they need to tell us how to feel about our program.

I think comparing us to UK fans should warrant a lifetime ban.
