who just led his team to the State Championship in NC by throwing for 301 yards and 5 TD's. He has committed to Tennessee but knowing the bunch of clowns in the AD department they could screw it up in a heart beat. Incidentally he broke a bunch of Chris Leakes high school records.

He is probably one of our firmest commits at this point. He has said that he committed to UT not just because of the coaches but because of the school. I also think he is an early enrollment guy so that wouldn't give him much time to open up his recruitment. That being said Jay Graham is huge in his recruitment so if we hold on to Graham he is probably a lock to stay, if Graham is let go I still think Ferguson stays with the Vols but I would be less confident.

Exactley who would be all over him? The few Asst coaches who havent cleaned out their offices or the ones who are staying around to draw a paycheck till the new coaches
are hired and start building relationships with recruits all over again... It is what it is.

If they are drawing a damn paycheck then someone ought to pick up the phone or tweet congrats to the young man. If Jay luvs UT like reported then I would expect him to be the one. The rest of those guys are wasted space.

No I don't but want to make as much noise here as possible so someone in the AD pays attention. Plus I never said they hadn't, said they had better, just FYI there is a difference.

Poor li'l Fiji's still upset that Gruden dumped him.

Grupies are funny!

p.s. He's Dooley's recruit. He probably should bail, now that Dooley's gone. You spent the last three years rooting for UT to lose, so Dooley would get fired. You got your wish. Losing recruits is part of that wish.

I know his family. Trust me...this kid is all Orange. Breaker boy has a good read on developing talent. I'd love to hear his thoughts on Riley. I really believe that Riley could be tremendous. He is gutsy, tough, mobile, and pretty accurate. He isn't Peyton but he is tough. The kid takes a hit and gets up ready to fight some more.

Poll from january 2012

Two hypothetical situations, which would you rather have happen?

1. Dooley wins 9 regular season games,nd a bowl, finishes in top25, and gets a 4 year extension

2. Dooley has another 6 win season, and is shown the door, and we get a new coach?

18 voted for number 2:

21VOL, albedo33, AstonRoyal, Bamajohn, BasketVolKid, Champ22, Defaultuser, Dirty_Hedgehog, Fijivol72, Indianavol4eva, jarvol, jayisavol, mpfvol, TAF, teeball, TnTinDallas, TruthGeneral, UGADawg4Life

VolNation - View Poll Results

So, just so everyone knows, Fiji actually hoped that the Vols failed in 2012. He WANTED US TO FAIL. Therefore, the only answer to this thread should be "YOU GOT WHAT YOU WISHED FOR".

Recruits bailing is part and parcel of a coach's firing. It's why real UT fans wished success for Dooley.

Fiji didn't. He wished that Dooley failed, and to hell with whether or not we lose recruits.

All of these geniuses wanted Vols to lose so Dooley would be fired. One AD, 2 football HCs, God knows how many Asst Coaches, a Basketball coach and assistants and others have been fired in the last 5 years and we are still in a huge hole. They know how to complain and whine, but offer no solutions or support.

I have continued my financial support and still to this day own six season tickets. In addition I contribute money over and above what the tickets and donation cost. The question was worded that included 4 more years of Dooley. I have been consistent that he didn't have the it factor nor the coaching ability to take the Vols where we needed which is at least being competitive. This is a school I love and graduated from and have supported financially for the last 20 years. No loud mouth like yourself can change that. You don't like it hit the damn ignore button.

Blah Blah Blah.

You hoped we failed. THAT'S what's important, not some imaginary millions you give to the athletic department.

So, stop whining about us losing recruits. You got what you wanted, a failed coach, and lost recruits.

Oh one last thing check the date of that poll, we had just lost to Kentucky, our recruiting was subpar against the rest of the SEC and we were coming off a losing season. Plus Dooley was coming off a 4-8 record at La. Tech before he got here. So the set up was a fluke year going against what he had done as a HC and a 4 year extension or get rid of the guy while giving our team a bowl game. For the record I am damn happy he is gone as is about 90% of the VN. I never mentioned millions but I have the right to express my viewpoint without someone questioning my ability to do it.

Let me guess. Your next post: Fire Hart. He didn't get Gruden.

Soon after the next coach is hired: This guy sucks, he can't recruit, he is not a proven winner, blah, blah, blah.....Fire Hart.

Answer to the next poll: I hope we lose to get rid of the SOB.

You are not on ignore because I like the entertainment from your rants. Keep it up, please.:hi:

Talent is here and coming on Offense. Riley is solid and will enroll early according to all indications. He will redshirt IMO. Bray will most likely leave, Worley and Petermen will battle for starting position under new coach. We have a ton of receivers and lineman as CDD did a good job of building those back up. Pittman and Graham need to be retained. Get a couple of good backs in this class and the rest defense!
