1. Hats off to Chris Scott. He has filled in for Eric Young quite nicely. On Arian's long run, he made 2 hellacious blocks.

As a matter of fact, hats off to the entire OL.

2. You dissapointed me Darren McFadden.

3. Felix Jones is the catalyst of the Arkansas offense. Without him, even with Superman, their offense was stagnant.

3. Jerod Mayo, where have you been? He played great.

4. The Defensive Line that has caught hell on this board should now get some love. Dan Williams abused Arky's interior linemen and Xavier Mitchell and Antonio Reynolds played contain very well. Only 2 runs bounced to the outside that hurt UT.

5. Chris Lofton is the most unselfish All-American I've ever seen.

6. Montario Hardesty will make Vol fans very happy if he stays healthy. Shame on the ones who said he wasn't an SEC caliber running back.

7. Marcus Monk is not healthy. Who said he'd be a non factor in this game?

8. Hefney thanks for playing today. His best game so far.

9. Rogan is an example of if someone can do it in practice, he can probably do it on Saturday.

10. Eric Berry will be feared by SEC QB's

two other things...

- Austin Rogers was huge on 3rd downs. He caught a touchdown on 3rd down in the first quarter, and kept two other drives alive with big grabs on 3rd.

- Where were Jones and McFadden on the 4th and 1 attempt that our defense stopped? When you're a coach on the hot seat, you can't afford to take the nation's best running back out of the game on such a critical run play.

Give our defensive line all the credit in the world....they shut down the run early and made Arky change their gameplan......neither RB could get in a rhythm because we blew up the interior line of scrimmage!!

The defense doesn't deserve the credit for Nutt not putting McFadden in on 4th and 1.

Peyton Hillis is their "Short Yardage" guy. I'm not agreeing with it, just saying that's the way Nutt coaches.

Jones got hurt early

If I was a Hog fan, I would probably want Arkansas to lose to LSU to ensure Nutt is gone (unless it is already sealed up now). I know I will get ripped because you should always pull for your team, but after 9 years of this garbage, they just need to get Nutt out of there as soon as possible.

Even with a victory over the Tigers, Nutt will be gone before next season starts. It's really a miracle that he's made it through this year.

Nutt is a moron. However, when he leaves (and he'll be gone after this season), if Butch Davis or Jimmy Johnson doesn't take the job, Arkansas fans will be wanting him back. Who will coach at Arkansas? Exactly, coaches aren't exactly knocking each other over to get the job.

Arkansas is Arkansas. They should be happy being 8-4. If they didn't win with McFadden and Jones back there, they aren't going to win with Micheal Smith back there.

You'll see the same thing at Texas A&M, where the fans think they are relevent to college football. In reality, they should be happy being in 3rd place in the Big 12 South with a chance to upset Texas and Oklahoma every year or so.

Nutt isn't worthy of coaching at Arkansas State, or Tech, or high school for that matter. Only he could manage to take a team to 8-4 with the easiest ooc schedule ever with McFadden and Jones. Although they may be a game better if they had Monk healthy at any part of the season.

I might cry if Davis or Johnson goes to Arkansas.

Wouldn't it be amazing if Davis went to Arkansas...the shear coaching talent the SEC would be fielding. At least we don't have to play them every year like all of the other great coaches in the SEC. I don't want to talk about Johnson.

I agree. That was moronic.

Nutt is a bad coach... but McFadden to that point had hardly been ripping UT. It wasn't a terrible call. Give UT some credit.

Moronic is having Casey Dick as QB while his brother sits the pine but is twice the talent. Moronic are many of Nutt's decisions and actions with players.

I suspect btw that Nutt didn't call that play. David Lee has a good reputation carried over from the Cowboys. He calls their plays as OC.

UT deserves a lot of credit for the defense yesterday, but seriously, was Nutt trying to throw the game?

.

Anytime you stuff a team in a short yardage situation like that, you deserve credit. No one's taking anything away from what the defense did today.

That said, the nation's best running back shouldn't be on the sideline for a short yardage running play of that magnitude.

Jones is a very, very good back but he is not the catalyst. With quite possibly the worst Paaing game I have ever seen the Arky Offense has to run the ball. with the speed they have they are most impressive with misdirection plays. No matter how good DMAC is he is but one man. Yes Jones in makes them better but even with him in the game if they run a more conventional offense they can be stopped just as AUB did earlier. Why Nutt chose to not use more misdirection? I don't know, but I and Chavis were both glad he didn't.

I wouldn't call needing one yard for a first down a situation where you need a player to "rip" up the defense. McFadden is better than Hollis at any situation. And he averaged over 5 yards a carry, no?

And the play call wasn't the problem, it was the personnelle. I don't care if David Lee is an ex-NFL guy. If it was his call to not have McFadden, or even Jones for the matter, in the game at that point, he's a tard.

McFadden is better than Hollis at any situation, I don't care if we held him to negative yards rushing. That was a moronic call.

It's Hillis and yes you are correct. Having McFadden on the bench at that point was great for us. :dance2:

Man you just dont want to give our D any credit do you?
why would he want to throw the game with his job on the line?

Did you even read the first part of my post about the whole credit thing? Did you really take the last part of my post as a serious question? There is no doubt that move was idiotic.
