41 points - that was the worst home loss in "modern" UT history (1937-present). This is not an opinion - I checked the record book. The second worst home loss in the modern era was last year to Alabama (39 points).

Clearly, major changes need to be made.

This game was Tennessee's worst loss at home since losing 45-0 to Vanderbilt in 1905

Guys. This is only year 1. You can't count last year's loss because that was year 0. Besides, we were still young then.👎🏻

This is over blown. It's all in how you look at it, perspective one might say. With good eye discipline it's not as bad as it seems 😁

Butch got to enjoy the East being horrible for years. Now that teams have rebuilt he truly is being exposed.

The loss to Oregon by 45 in 2013 (59-14) was the worst margin (home or away) in "modern" UT football.

So Butch Jones coached - our first AND second worst home losses AND our worst road loss! (modern era - 1937-present)
