We've been able to out talent some teams in the second half with superior conditioning. But now our team is too riddled with injuries and fatigue from running too many plays is catching up to them. We came out flat and with no plan as usual but today we forgot to wake up at half time and the adjustments are not helping so far.

The Florida win may have bought Butch some good will, but he is spending it all today with this phoned in performance
We like to talk about his great record coming off a bye week -- but remember that includes a loss against Vandy. Lose to this horrid team with a bottom 10 defense and his gimmick offense is exposed and has to be scrapped. New offensive coaches all around. (And I was still calling for Debord head regardless after Texas a&m) Now that rants over, get the lead out and find a way to win this game

We are better than we were but is "better" good enough. I know it will be for the university but for us fans......not so much

I have always been and still am a Jones supporter, but games like this really make you think he just doesnt have it. I still think we win but man, how many points did UMASS score on this? QB a senior in high school? Man...on a good note, John Kelly is really really good.

The funniest part is they think firing Butch Jones and the staff will solve everything when in reality, it'll set back our program even more. Too bad we have idiots on here who can't get that through their head.

I think the problem is everyone has a different standard.
What should the standard be?

Better than we were?

Championships?

Depends. Firing always has a risk. it also has a potential reward. there is something terribly wrong with this team. should beat this team by 20.
Jones isn't getting fired over this game.

But the issue then becomes who? How is the coach thag guarantees us that?

I think Butch will get it done, but I would be in favor of Kyle Wittingham.

I am 95% vol fan 5% navy fan, (i hate all other teams equally, and then I hate alabama more) however if we were to hire someone like Art Briles id have to go navy. I couldnt support that.
