Some people do hate Tennessee

With the exception of Auburn being slightly out of place, that is probably the order of all-time success in the SEC as well. Could the two be corellated?

This one was funny

9. Kentucky: The Wildcats are ranked a little higher than they probably should be in this dubious poll simply because their basketball fans are so obnoxious.

Its not so much UT, as it is the tradition of playing that song every time the Vols run a good play. Actually, lately, it doesn't even have to be a big play for that song to get blared out again. Seems like lately if the Vols just get positive yardage, or don't fumble or get a penalty, the song gets played.

You go from 2nd at 25 to 3rd and 23, we hear the song.

1. Alabama: Tide fans cling to the past with an obsessive desperation. Hate to break it to you, but Bear Bryant and all his brilliance ain't coming back.

That couldn't be further from the truth!

He was dead on with Larry Munson of GA, most irritating voice of all, and that stupid "hobnail boot" comment, whatever the hell that is. Maybe I shouldn't have used the term "dead on" with regards to Munson though, he ain't long for this world.

I will tell you one thing, we are absolutely looked down upon and HATED up here in Buckeye country... they are still crying about the time we beat them in the 1996 Citrus Bowl.

How is hanging onto the memory of the bear that much different from hanging onto the memory of 1998? Both are ancient history in today's short attention span world.

I agree, Munson is annoying and over rated, IMO. Georgia fans think he is the greastest and will be the greatest sports announcer to ever live. The guy just isn't that good. I personally think John Ward made him look like a rookie. Now there's a legend.

It is so easy to hate someone or some “team” who not only beats, but embarrasses you on such a consistent basis. Maybe if all these “haters” spent more time recruiting a talented football team they might have a school that would be worthy of being hated by so many other teams. GO BIG ORANGE!!!!!!

Although I have a friend at UF who admits that "that song" (rocky top) is the greatest fight song in the country, and the fact that it is usually ranked in the top 3 or 4 fight songs in the country, I can understand how it bothers you. We do play it a alot. Which I happen to like(I also like our real fight song)! It must cause you the similar instant rage feeling I get everytime I see that "gator chomp." It is equally out of control. Any time that camera is on one of you guys thats what you do. (see titletown from gainesville)

when the players says or agree its overplayed we'll cut back. i think we ought to poll them. but it gets the crowd pumped and they feed off that so its kind a circle. my favorite is when we play hey baby!
