I don't get it. I don't see how we can find any little thing that has gone on within our program and become negative about it.

It has been a pain in the #$@ recently having to sift through all the bashing our staff, and players that we did or did not get on NSD have received.

Do none of you ever have a positive outlook on..anything?

We didn't get so-n-so as a coach
Oh no, when are we ever gonna get a staff together
I don't like that so-n-so got hired
We better get this player or Ill be pissed
They suck cause they didn't sign with us
We didn't get enough of __ position.
I cant believe Kiffin said what he said.

I could go on...All I can say is just STFU, and man up and take what has happened, and stop sounding like a 9 yr old girl who didnt get a $%#ing pony for Christmas.

That is all.

By the way, this isn't directed to the better half of you all. I have loved chatting with the most of you all during my brief stay here, and hope to continue on doing so for a while.

The rest of you...grow up.

Sometimes we all need to get stuff off our chest, but everybody that reads your post is going to think of 10 other people that it applies to without looking at themselves (myself probably included)... but a noble cause nonetheless.... and love the avatar

I understand wanting to get things off your chest, that's what this place is for. Discussion.

However it is not the place for mindless ranting on and on about something that

A. you cannot change
B. is being dealt with by people far more knowledgeable than yourself.

We have what we have...be happy about that.

And for goodness sakes be patient, haha.

And thanks for the compliment on the avatar. My two favorite things, LOST and UT Football, so I just thought Id combine them. :)

Part of it is this: it's easier to prattle on and on about something that irritates you, then it is to talk about something that doesn't.

Example: A co-worker does a good job, but until end-of-month nobody is exactly sure what he does. Another co-worker throws a snide remark at a guy in another department, but he's otherwise a good worker just like the first. Which person can you spend your whole lunch hour talking about?

Most people here just wanna talk, and the talk they find easiest is dissin' other teams or coaches, or their own. Know what I mean?

Just consider the source. And post as much positive stuff as you want. It's nice to have the positive things to read!

If you ever want to meet these people in person....Go to a UT football game and look around. They are the ones who are always sitting on their hands. And in game crucial situations they are the ones who will yell at people who stand up.
