Some of you so-called "fans" on here..........

are making me seriously consider not coming back to VolNation. True, we have not looked like world-beaters the first 2 games and I am as disappointed as anyone. But some of you "fans" continue to bash the coaches and players on a daily basis. If you know so freaking much about football, then I encourage you to send Dave Hart your resume immediately....and we all will sit back and watch how its done.

I have been a Vol fan for a long time having grown up in KnoxVegas listening to John Ward's play by play on the radio before many games were on TV. As a student, I rarely missed a game. At the end of the day, I support the Vols 100%...win, lose, or draw. It pisses me off to read some of the sheet some of you post bashing the team, players, and coaches.

Fact is, most of you (me included) never played a freaking down of organized football. But I love the game and I love my Vols. So unless you can become Head Coach, OC, DC, etc and make the team better STHU and support OUR team. I would rather be an 8-4 Vol than a 12-0 Gator, Bulldog, or Bammer any day of the week!

Now lets kick some Bobcat @$$ and then worry about the Lizards. GBO!!
Bye then.

Not funny dude!

Wasn't meant to be funny...my father in law died of cancer, my father beat prostate cancer 30 years ago, and my mother is battling non-Hodgkins lymphoma as I type this.

I was simply making a comment in response to the OP suggesting that unless you've had coaching experience, you are somehow not allowed to criticize a coaching staff.

If you took my post as making light of anyone struggling with cancer, you completely misinterpreted what I was attempting to communicate.

Don't take it to heart, OP. Remember...

They'll stone the coaches when they're walking down the street.

They'll stone them when they're undefeated.

They'll stone them when they're young and able.

They'll stone them after they beat the Gators.

Don't you feel so all alone...
EVERYBODY MUST GET STONED!

Another true fan thread. WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

Which one is better a "true" fan thread or a bunch of goofballs starting a "just being honest" thread 10,000 times a day or during a game? Clearly, many on here could out coach 99% of the coaches that have ever graced the sidelines during a UT football game.

The majority of oncologists have never been diagnosed with cancer.

No, but they go to school and earn a PHD..

Would love to see any football degree any of these jokers have earned..

I'll even accept an associates..

A 6 month certificate? NO?

So you mean to tell me their only qualification is sitting on a couch and eating so many hot wings that they now need cholesterol meds?

Sure, let's compare them to people who spend a lifetime learning to treat and cure cancer..

Nobody would get stoned if they're undefeated cause that would also mean they beat the Gators. :clapping:

Which is better? Well since you asked, neither. Both kinds can be equally stupid.

This was the year this team was supposed to play on a championship level. So far, they haven't done that. The fan base is justified in its frustrations.

Championship level per whom? Sportswriters and fans? A blind man could see that Dobbs isn't capable of beating a good SEC team with his arm prior to this season and so far he hasn't changed many minds this season. We have holes all over the field, so explain to me how we were going to win "championships" with this team. Simply because it is year 4 in his coaching tenure? I didn't realize that year 4 in a coach's tenure somehow gave them the deserved right to compete for a championship. A lot of coach's would disagree with that assessment.

We are undefeated...and all these idiots can do is criticize and try to convince everyone else how the season is already over.

We shouldn't even bother playing the rest of the season out..it's already been decided.

I must have, but cancer is not anything to make fun of its a serious disease as you apparently know. Prayers sent for you and your family.

Have you ever been out and you over hear somebody talking like a know-it-all? And you realize they don't know as much as they think they do, but the people around them just let them ramble, cause they're a likable person otherwise. Volnation is kinda like that.

Boy, that's some serious "neggavoling" you got going on there. Dobbs can't beat a good team and we got holes everywhere eh?

How sad to watch the Vols as a "fan" and never enjoy a win because, after all, if the Vols aren't perfect why bother? I am happy to watch a football game without having to overevaluate or overanalyze every second of every play of every game..And I'm also glad my ego doesn't allow me to have the first thought of knowing how to coach/play for the vols better than those who currently do.. I instead prefer to sit back, enjoy the game and pity those who can't seem to do the same..And for all those who think they have all the answers for everything?? Bless your lil' hearts..

Keep reading the thread...you'll get there...

I was "there" with her in February when she spent the last fifteen minutes of her life dying a horrible death from ovarian cancer. Cancer isn't the butt of a joke. Sorry your family is dealing with it. Doesn't make it okay.
