are making me seriously consider not coming back to VolNation. True, we have not looked like world-beaters the first 2 games and I am as disappointed as anyone. But some of you "fans" continue to bash the coaches and players on a daily basis. If you know so freaking much about football, then I encourage you to send Dave Hart your resume immediately....and we all will sit back and watch how its done.

I have been a Vol fan for a long time having grown up in KnoxVegas listening to John Ward's play by play on the radio before many games were on TV. As a student, I rarely missed a game. At the end of the day, I support the Vols 100%...win, lose, or draw. It pisses me off to read some of the sheet some of you post bashing the team, players, and coaches.

Fact is, most of you (me included) never played a freaking down of organized football. But I love the game and I love my Vols. So unless you can become Head Coach, OC, DC, etc and make the team better STHU and support OUR team. I would rather be an 8-4 Vol than a 12-0 Gator, Bulldog, or Bammer any day of the week!

Now lets kick some Bobcat @$$ and then worry about the Lizards. GBO!!

I'am like you, been a Vol fan a long time (long before John Ward, around 1950). Still takes me days to get over a loss. Well remember the first time we ran the "T" formation. Did try to play a little in high school. BUT it doesn't take an expert to see that our O line just doesn't seem to be able to block, and as always if they can't, we are toast.

This has been a weird start to a season. You would think we were 0-2 by the way fans are acting. We have looked flawed, but so has everyone else besides Bama.

App State - Sure we played bad, but we did something we haven't really done. We came back from a double digit second half deficit...and won. That in and of itself shows growth from last year.

VT - We got down early and fought back. Biggest stage any game has every been played on too. We showed flashes of being really good in a facets of the game. Won by 3 td's doubling the spread.

If we put it all together, we have the potential to beat everyone on our schedule. Considering where we have been the last 10 years, I am confused by some of you.

I believe we will all agree that negavols exist, however, there are some, and I said SOME posters that have valid reasons to have less than flattering remarks about the performance of this team. It's true the OL has not been dominating, the passing game is not to Peyton Manning's standards, but overall this team has competed and found ways to come from behind and get the W. But don't judge you participation on this blog as a right, but a privilege. The Web Administrators know when to kick some comments off, but not all negative post are negavols or bad fans........we've all typed things out of knee jerk reactions to some bad games or plays..............let it go. If you don't want to post here.......then go stick you head in the sand and live that life with orange color glasses.

This is true of every sports team at every level. If UMass were to put it all together and have a boss offense, defense, and special teams they could beat anyone.

It's the hype train. UT got mad hype during the off season and as of yet has shown zero semblance to said hype.

Hang in there man. We are all vol fans on here, well most of us anyway. Just remember that everyone has an opinion and you know opinions are like @$$holes..everybody's got one.
