The most unreal part is that Dormady actually played pretty darn well for his first start on the road with only one proven receiver that he didn't even have half the game. I'm not sure what some people were wanting him to do.....break Manning records his first game?

Even if he was the worst QB ever to step on the field, nobody deserves that crap (not saying you said they would)

He played well IMO for being his first start under the circumstances. His WRs didn't really help him a ton in the early parts of the game, they didn't got off coverage and had some bad drops.

I thought he played a decent game as well.. WR's didn't help out with a couple drops. But I fully expect him to grow from this game.

Q.D. vs. Ga. T. = Good performance because receivers dropped many passes in the first half. In fact, he could have had another 100 yards and completed another 10 passes if the receivers been able to loosen up and not be so tight.

Q.D. vs. Ga. T. = Bad performance because there were 5 passes that he threw that were in dab judgement. He got lucky that their d.b.'s were not very athletic or he would have been intercepted. In fact, most S.E.C. caliber teams would have intercepted any of those 5 ill-fated passes that he threw.

He better settle down and make better judgements. He will get yanked if those passes turn in to interceptions.

The sad part is that most of these so called Vol fans don't really know much about football yet they run their mouths about these kids anyway. The truth is QD didn't really play that bad in the 1st half. I counted 4 or 5 balls that should of been caught that were dropped. If those balls are caught then some of them early drives continue and he gets more relaxed in that first half. They may or may not have lead to points but you have to help your QB when he is making his first start. I know the wide outs were probably nervous too so I'm not knocking them, just giving a little defense of our QB.

Really hoping for a player in a football game to get hurt doesnt just make you a jerk. It makes you a pathetic pile of human garbage.

I hate every team in the country besides Tennessee. But I dont want any player ever getting injured for any reason.

Man it's terrible. We have some of the most snowflake fans on the planet. The amount that some complain about Tennessee football is amazing. Why are they even following the team? Do these people get this upset about everything in life if it's not perfect? Like if your spouse isn't a 10 out of 10 or your kids are geniuses/athletic phenoms does it just ruin their lives? I don't think so. So why do so many fans act this way about a group of 18-22 year olds and coaches who are basically giving their lives to this game? It just drives people crazy. Take a step back and just enjoy the game. It's never going to be perfect. We're going to win lots of games and lose some. It's really not a big deal. Have fun and move on. /end rant

My wife and I deleted our Facebook accounts about 6 months ago. Amazing how much happier we are without it. I was finding myself getting angry about stupid posts from people I haven't spoken to in person for 15 years. It's just a huge waste of time and energy.
