I watched the interview of QD and looked at the comments that were posted on Facebook. Most of the people were supportive but to the guy that said: " break your leg I mean it please go break your leg " Whoever you are you are a disgrace to volnation and you really should be ashamed of yourself. You just wished bodily harm on a 19 year old kid because he did not play a great football GAME! Just imagine that was your son....I know that he didn't play a great game but seriously your life is so pathetic that you would say something so stupid.

QD This jerk does not represent us very well and hope you continue to get better!

There area lot of haters out there based upon their personal preference. It's ridiculous and driven by some very dark motives in some people.

I hate when people make comments like this. I was at the Georgia game 2 years ago and two guys a few rows behind me were yelling "break his leg" when Nick Chubb ran out there and it was the first play of the game...... Anyone remember what happened on that play?

That is just terrible to wish upon someone.

The Twitter Era has been nothing but negativity for attention. I know you said this was facebook, but ever since twitter became popular, it has been nothing short of being comparable to a child misbehaving for attention. And that's our society. Shameful

Actually, the disturbing behavior cited by the OP has been encouraged over the past 3&1/2 decades, beginning with the flourishing of shock jock talk radio in the '80s. It has been further fed by political party operatives and flamboyant infotainment "editorialists" across multiple media platforms. The Internet elevated self-indulgent bad behavior from ugly virus to ubiquitous plague. Socmed expanded the avenues and platforms by which people may anonymously spew venom at each other.

Yep, people say dumb outrage things. They get tons of attention for saying dumb outragous things. And then we all wonder why people continue to say dumb outragous things.

Same thing happens here on vn. A person created a thread about a dumb article bashing the program. That threads creates more attention to the dumb article. Then we will complain about more dumb articles in the future.

Look man/woman, this has jack all to do with football.

There is a lot of mental illness in the county. I mean a lot. People are in need of attention. They feel ignored and unloved and separated from reality, so they grab onto what ever is accessible and close that gets them attention. They want attention. Probably raised in a bad home, or just raised in a community that made them feel like outsiders. In this age everyone has access to the internet. They can get the attention they need by latching onto something that is popular like a leach. It's unfortunate but it exists. You can overcome by calling them "Enthusiastic fans".

QD led a team to victory who had a 3% chance of winning according to ESPN at the end of the 3rd qtr... What's not "great" about that?

He was 12 of 17 in the 2nd half with 2 drops to go with the 5 or so from the first half. The O produced 319 yards and 28 points in 18 minutes of clock. That extrapolates to well over 500 yds and over 40 points if UT had possessed the ball for 30 minutes.

And remember, CPJ became openly stated that in spite of his D being VERY fresh in OT... they simply couldn't stop UT's O.

It defies ALL sensibility to claim that happened in spite of the QB.

Wow. That pisses me off. I've been called a negavol more than once but I'd never wish ill will in any of these kids. And as far as qd goes...I was thrilled to death with him. I don't understand any criticism at all. The games was close because of our defense. Not the qb. I thought as far as debuts go he did well. And he continually improved throughout the game. Had I been butch at no point in the game would have have made a change. Qd is going to be a good one before it's all said and done

I don't wish for opponents to get hurt, so I damn well don't want any of our players hurt. I mean, Butch could stub his pinky toe real bad and I wouldn't mind.
