Although I don't really care for sports nation or especially the show due to the unintelligence that is associated with it, we were picked as the upset of the week this week on Sportsnation Unite..I still just can't bring myself down the level of calling this an upset. Negavol or sunshine pumper, I don't care. It's freakin Mississippi State. Vols win by 10+ :good!:

I'm on board with that, but in independent fashion. I could care less what anyone in the media says about the VOLS. They should be able to man handle Miss st. There is no good excuse why the VOLS should not dominate this game!!

to the OP, if you say you dont care for the show and find it unintelligent, whouldn't you find the fact that they are picking UT to be unintelligent too? and if UT being upset of the week is unintellignt, wouldn't that mean MSST is going to trounce you?

We have Bama Fans, UGA fans, gator fans and now we have a LSU fan. We must have the only real message board around?!?!

Whether you like the term or not, the fact is that it would be an upset. Anytime a 3-2 (0-2) SEC team plays a 5-0 (2-0), #19 ranked SEC team on the road and wins...it's an upset.

Given our SEC record over the past 3 years, I don't care what you call it. Just get the win.

Go Vols.

Im a transplant into Tenn from BR, and i like to follow the vols. I like the way VN is set up and it is a good message board, but i like ours better.

Fortunately for you, websites dedicated to BR football teams still work in TN. If you like the other board so much better, you should be there, not here......

Other than the fact they have a better coach than us. That can make up for a difference in talent. I still think we win by at least 2 tds though!

If one team is the underdog in a contest and they win the game, then that is an upset!!
MSU is favored to win the game, so we are the underdog here.

Also, if you think that this is bad, just wait until Joker is fired at Ky. and Petrino takes over that trainwreck.
Should Petrino take over that program, he would have them competitive in a a couple of years. Of course, we will still beat Ky. because they are our step brother, but it would be a much closer contest.....

These people must care abt TN FB to be on this site while a fan of someone else....& they must not have much of a life....I barely have time to go to a UT site every once in a while. No time or interest to go to someone elses site!

As i previously mentioned in this thread, i do like to follow the vols.

also, i have a desk job that gives me plenty of time to read message boards during the day.
