One thing we know, none of those kids post on VN. Way to positive concerning the future

"WE" don't know that, but I'm 100% positive that recruits read VN.. and with stuff that NEGAVOLS post, I'm pretty sure sways the ultimate decision.
Recruiters work hard to 'catch' the best players to be a VOL,, and it is amazing how negative VOL FANS are towards the football program... JMHO....

That's why my kids play sports. If taught correctly, they will be able to handle things. Handle competition, obstacles and adversity.
It's a shame that some kids handle losses and obstacles better and more maturely than the fan base.

Playing sports does really help...I had older brothers who played on a state championship FB team--then my Sr. year we went 1-9--worst record in the history of the school...I had never lost at anything in my life, and it was extremely hard to listen to everybody call us losers...The idiots in my hometown were calling our coaches pathetic, unqualified and God knows what else--and these were the same coaches who had coached my brothers to the State championship--and one of them was named Bob Zvolerin--and he was ANYTHING but a loser. We as a FB team just weren't that good!

The same folks that called us losers in the fall were calling me and some of my fellow FB players who played Baseball winners as we finished 3rd in the state...6 months later!

Sorry for the rambling--but the point that I learned as a 17 year old young man is this:

Only the players and coaches REALLY know what goes on and what the problems are--BUT ANY DUMBASS WITH A MOUTH can open it and be a flatulating butthead and prove to all just how stupid he really is--and that's representative of 100% of posters on this board who are saying CDD can't coach or needs to be fired. :salute:

Mods feel free to move to recruiting forum, but I thought it dealt more with football.

Asked if they were looking around here are some of the recruits responses:

Drae Bowles: "No sir. I love the Tennessee program. I have faith in the program."

George Bullock: "No, it does not affect my decision to go to Tennessee. I am excited to go there and help the team out any way I can."

Jason Croom: "Nope. I know all this stuff is gonna change next year. So, I'm not worried."

Khalid Henderson: "Not at all. We have talent already in place and coming in as well. Just about gelling together, and take this season to heart and working even harder for next year. All eyes are on us."

Justin King: "Nope, not at all. Things happen for a reason, but it just really made me start working even harder cause I feel like my class will turn some things around. But, at the end (of the day) we are family and that's what VFL stands for."

Nathan Peterman: "No sir. I'm still 100 percent."

Otha Peters: "No sir it don't."

Keithon Redding: "No, not at all."

Dalton Santos: "No sir it don't! I'm still a Tennessee Vol.

Danny O'Brien has also said similar things.

I am afraid that some of the posters on here and other sites are not going to like this information. Another indication that Coach Dooley is on the right track and will get the program back where we want it. All this in spite of the crap being spewed by Hyams and other anti Tennessee reporters and talk show hosts. Dooley must be doing pretty good if Hyams is so upset. We do not yet have the talent of his LSU, but we are going to in the near future.

When Mr. Horse was asked if it had an impact on his decision, he replied:

I was just reading through his twitter, found it through Ryan Callahan's retweet, not stalking per se; he and several other commits seem very excited. Good to see.

I watched some tape on this kid and was impressed.. I feel the sites have him rated way to low.

Hope he has a great career here and an NFL future

Nice to read this amongst all the negativity in the forum this past week. Especially nice to see Dalton's still 100%.

Logic and composure from high school kids.... These kids need to be trained to panic at any sign of adversity and throw money at all problems real or imagined.

Welcome aboard guys !! VFL
