If it happened, then it would be one of the most coincidental illnesses I've seen in a while.That's the thing about getting sick, you were most likely feeling pretty good the day before. If that didn't happen, then you'd just be sick all of the time now wouldn't you?
Now I know that this "story" isn't as juicy as all the other theories, but it's very possible this happened. I guess you'll just have to find something else to gossip with the women at the hair salon about.
That's usually because most college kids (myself included) were either drinking or whoring around campus, not ill with the flu. Normally, if you have the flu, you at least bed ridden for a while, not missing to the point that your roomate doesn't even know where you are.In my college experience, there were plenty of times that my roommate and friends didn't know where I was.
I've tried my hardest here, but still can't muster up an ounce of care about this. Why is there a debate? He might be sick, he might be AWOL, he might be transferring, etc. In the end, what does it matter?
He is not an indicator of people fleeing the program, if that's the point.
