Okay which of you went on XM Channel 84 this morning and said Hurd is not a great SEC back because he doesn't run inside AND said we screwed up three years ago by not putting 20 pounds on him and making him a TE?

The idiot also said that Appalachian State state is a trap game and that we're in big trouble last time I checked the opener at home has never been a trap game

I don't subscribe to XM, so that eliminates me. However, to save making another thread, no I will not be paying to hear the opinions of this season by 4 members of the KNS sports staff, led by John Adams at Calhoun's by the river.

Just in case anyone was wondering.

The dude carried us last year. Enough said, and if he has the monster season we all expect him to have, the league will be drooling over him. Size, speed, toughness, has NFL written all over it! Whoever said that probably never played a down of football in his life. I guess Derrick Henry and Leonard should be TE's to, and Eddie George, etc. He may not have broken many long runs, but you could count on five, and there was carnage in his path to the sticks!

Somebody is getting a big laugh out of their call and comments, and probably an even bigger laugh at VN reaction. Bazinga!

I'm sure Hurd would have made a great TE, but he has made an even better RB.

And just for kicks I would have liked to see him play a little SS or MLB, but he's gonna get millions from some lucky NFL team for taking handoffs as RB.

I heard him and that was definitely not a Tennessee fan.

Hurd has been working almost exclusively as the 2nd team tight end behind Wolf in the closed portion of practice from media, TIFWIW.

Dude is about to break the All-Time rushing record at UT and after this season will be making lots and lots of American dollars as a RB. We should've never put him there it makes way more sense to put him at TE.

The fact that Herd is realistically though of for so many spots just tells you what an outstanding player he is. I am sure he could be a tight end, maybe a D.E. or linebacker. Great player....
