Last year A&M won 8 games, this year in an all conference schedule they are ranked 5th in the country with a win over a team from Florida, maybe you've heard of them?

Your argument was improvement, please tell us how aTm is improved over the course of this year. Explain how the LSU game was improvement... patiently waiting

As it looks right now 3 new SEC coaches at Ark...Ole Miss....Mizzou will have better records than us and Pruitt in year 3. IIRC Ark and Mizzou had the 1 and 2 toughest SOS. Right now Miss State and us have 2 wins and Miss state has played the last 2 games with less than 50 scholarship players. Pitiful anyway you look at it.

Somehow, the thought that U.T. has a lot of company in mediocre/p-poor football is not comforting.

There are also teams playing great football. Bama is probably fielding their best team to date and is winning games without a HC on the sideline. Florida is having an offensive year that would put Spurrier teams to shame. ND, Cincy, and Liberty are solid.

It goes both ways.

LSU fought to the end with two freshmen QB. Did you see Coach O’s reaction to the pick 6? Quite different from Captain Cornbread. They also beat the spread with a late touchdown.

So UT beat auburn in every statistical category except the most important one ... that not improvement ?

LSU lost several players to the draft, Vandy?, Kentucky has been very competitive in their games and beat us by 27, Michigan continues to play average football, South Carolina won 4 games last season, and yes Penn State has disappointed but the rest of your examples are head scratchers at best.

Pick 6’s , Duh. Do you understand how much they deflated the entire team? Not only did we contribute points directly to the other team, we left points off the board with another capable Qb starting. Our offensive playbook is restricted with JG. Our Defense in several of the games were completely exhausted because our offense continually went three and out. The defense has issues but they are compounded by the fact we have significantly lost the TOP in every game but Auburn.

Considering Bailey has thrown picks in 23 attempts in mop up duty and JG has thrown four picks in 166 attempts, what makes you think HB wouldn't have some costly turnovers as well?
