I love how this thread has absolutely no impact on what happens this Saturday. The boys will take the field and then we will see...both teams are rebuilding. It will be interesting. Hopefully it will be more entertaining than last year's.

Auburn fans: relax. If you wish to come here mouthing off that's fine. You may win Saturday. You may become the elite team in the SEC. You may beat Alabama this year. You may win numerous National Championships. Chizik may be the answer. In time my dear auburn fans...in time. Go Vols!

I have read the thread and think that both sides are secretly hoping our teams are for real (especially au). There is no doubt that your staff has an edge over ours. Like it or not, we did create turnovers, they were not just given to us. Our special teams are weak. we will be in pretty poor field position all game. You guys should be starting on your 40. Auburn's QB situation isn't great, the Barn's D isn't anywhere near where it usually is and they rely very heavily on a undersized true freshman at TB. The tigger's WRs actually make UT's look good.

Auburn has played some awful teams with friday night lights Gus leading the O. Malzahn couldn't really figure out that giving the ball to McFadden and Jones was in Arky's best interest. I don't really think he's that great an OC.

We don't rely on McCalleb.....Ben Tate is our starting RB and that is who gets most of the work load...He was the number one running back in the SEC going into Ball State but now is 3rd cause we started playing our 3rd adn 4th strings in the second half.........

Tate only has about 50 more yards and 2 less TD's than McCalleb.

He does not run the same Offense as he did at Tulsa...He has changed it to suit our players talents. At Tulsa it was pass to open the run...At Auburn it is run to open up the pass....I like CGM because he goes with what the defense gives you.....Tubs would try to run it even if you had 9 in the box....He was stubborn...Win, or lose i love the direction Auburn is headed!

Mcalleb runs a 4.3 and Tate and Fannin are power backs. Hardesty and Brown are very good but dont sell our backs short

Tate has 18 more rushes and Tate sat out of the first half against Mississippi State...McCalleb is in on a lot of reverses and trickery plays to stretch the field! Tate is used to wear the defense down to run north and South. You see more of McCalleb in the second half after the defense is wore down!

I think you'll find our defense giving you a lot less than the four stalwarts you have played thus far.

Alright Alright....you Auburn fans win. You are the best football team in the country. You have by far the best coaches and the best players in EVERY single position on the field. Hell, your 3rd string could probably play every down and you all would still win the National Title! I am just in awe at how great you all are! Your schedule is so tough and I know that 4-0 is not the end of your winning streak because with all the talent you have then you will probably win every game for the next 10 years! I just hope that my poor lil Tennessee team that is undercoached/understaffed/inferior-in-every-way-to-Auburns team can keep it respectable and only lose by 30 or 40 pts and not 100.

Not only did Chizik not win at Iowa State, he made the program worse. His winning percentage was lower than Kiffin's in the NFL. And Kiffin was in a much more difficult situation than Chizik was.

Bottom line is, he is 4-0 at Auburn and that is all that matters! I think it is stupid to compare what coaches done before they got to your school! And his tenure will be judged on what he does at Auburn and not at Iowa State....I know he has brought a lot of excitement to the Auburn program....

Uhhhh, Chizik didn't fire him....He was fired on the firing of Tommy Tubs...Chizik brought in his own staff and I can not blame him for that!! Just like Kiffin brought in his. John Chavis is a great defensive coordinator but did you all have any complaints of Kiffin bringing in his dad....No! Just like Auburn fans didn't have any complaints of Chizik bringing in Curtis Luper...They are great hires!!!!!

Once you play teams with actual talent, see how excited you guys still are. Chizik will never beat Saban. How long will fans tolerate that?

Auburn is 4-0, but half of the teams in the country would be too with that schedule. You can't really make a fair assessment until you get into the heart of your SEC games.

Don't get it! We had one of the best teams that year who just happened to get left out of the national championship game! Y'all are acting as if a one loss team played for the national chamionship and Auburn got beat out! I don't care who it is, just like if Miami would have went undefeated this year and so did Bama and Texas....Guess what, Bama and Texas would be playing for the national title!! All about pre season rankings!
