Do we really think out the "Peyton Manning as coach" scenario or do we all just say it because we like him, he's a VFL and he's one of the best QB's of all time? How would he really do as an HC?

I never believed for one second that Gruden was coming here so I wasn't let down. But what exactly do we have to look forward to? We're not getting a big-name coach. I don't see any of them leaving their schools to come here.

I hear the deal is done. He's gonna announce at halftime on Sunday. Come out in his uniform and take off his jersey to reveal a UT coaching polo

I heard a rumor last night that Jesus was considering the head coaching job at UT becuase he thinks it will take a miracle to turn things around. Go Jesus!!

Jim Tressel should be on the list. He is a proven winner in a big time program. I know many on here dismiss anything on Bleacher Report, but if what they report is true about his penalties, he would be an excellent candidate. He probably could be had relatively cheap, could pull in a great staff and have the name to attract some big time players and can recruit on a national scale. UTAD could research the details of his penalties to make sure they could stay in compliance with him, but it may be worth a look.
