I still remember Field Day in 5th Grade where they were handing these out and I drank about 4. The teachers were furious at the reaction it gave to the kids.
It might taste different to me now if I drank it, but back then it was good.
Thats awesome. Aroung the Monteagle area of TN you can go to a lot of mom and pop shops and they will have frozen sun drop. Basically a Sun Drop slushee. Awesome
No lie - I got carded the first time I saw this and bought one....Cashier wasn't paying attention apparently. (it didn't have the foreign writing on it)
My mom used to by the generic rip offs of Dr Pepper. I'd be too embarassed to take it to school so I would save my Dr Pepper or a Coke bottle and pour it in there. We would get stuff like these:
Blenheim Ginger Ale is bottled in SC. It is real ginger ale that makes your eyes water and nose run. It is an aquired taste. The same family that owns the bottler owns South of the Border, that paragon of good taste on the NC SC border. South of the Border makes Daytona Beach look like the French Riviera.
As a kid I would get a Suicide at the local pool. It was a splash of RC, orange and grape Nehi and Upper Ten over flaked ice which soaked in the syrup. Add a Marathon candy bar and it was on!

Another from my youth:
