Soda, Pop, Cola, or Coke?

What do you call a "carbonated beverage"?

Should have had an all the above selection. At different times in my life I have called them everything on the list. Now I never know what descriptive phrasing will come when I speak in reference to them.

As a young 'un, we called the all cokes or dopes. So, an orange Nehi would be a big orange dope. Don't drink any of the products anymore but I would probably call them by their individual designated name now.

They are all Cokes - Grew up in North Carolina & Tennessee.

Now the harder question - Is this a good or bad result for the company that owns the brand "Coke"?

Never heard of this so called pop, Cola, or soda. Its Coke down south beeotch.

Mountain Dew is the only exception.
