So wrong about Herring

I saw 4 freshmen that really stood out to me in their limited playing time. Herring for sure, Tyree West, Josh Josephs, and James Pearce (at least for the defense). Add those 4 guys with with guys like Bradley and the other Herring coming in and you could really start to see some difference makers emerging. West made one play on a WR screen our in space that you just don't see DTs make. We're also bringing in a ton of talent in the secondary which is nice, plus the young guys we have currently like Turrentine and Charles.

I thought TN recruited Elijah to help get a commitment from brother Caleb. #44 can play football. Was really excited by the play of many new comers, future looks bright.
He was getting positive reviews all off-season. Also had a really good senior season, last year, IIRC. Looks like he can be a good one, maybe even a starter, next year.

I was a fan early after his commitment. I don’t pretend to have any superior insight on viewing film (let’s be real…highlights), but my take was this one stood on his own as an underrated steal. Brother is a bonus, but I can see him having an equal or greater impact at his position.

Just because we want his brother doesn’t mean he can’t be great too does it ? How about we get them both on the same field w their brother telepathy and let them go to work on some folks.

Slightly off topic, but the announcers on tv called out Herring on a great play behind the LOS on a screen, but it was actually Tyree West that made the play. He looked good too, but I concur on Herring. More reps! - Get him ready.

Everybody is sleeping on this defense and the secondary too. There’s a lot of talent in the back end and we’ve yet to see it due to depth.
