Names I would pursue in no particular order. Willie Taggart, Dave Shaw, Mike Leach, Frost, Miles and yes Lane Kiffin. Yes, he would have the money and maybe more. Soon this will become a bidding war on whose available that would be a splash hire.

That's good cash. T A&M just shucked $75 mil for J.Fisher. Another school following the Bama model. Winning pays for itself. Behind all this though B.Jones is telling how they restricted his budget last year. In other words they can "set a coach up to fail." Jones failed in 2016 with losses to S.C. and Vandy which cost us a Sugar Bowl berth so they essentially wanted him out. Davenport is looking bad currently. Money is the only reason a coach would come to this dumpster fire.

Finish the deal with Leach, Phil. He loves crazy fan bases, he turns teams around, and he's a pirate. We need him, our team needs him, and the Vol Navy needs him. Oh, and he's 3-1 vs Les Miles in case anyone attempts to send you in that direction...

Davenport looked like she has had her azz handed to her & she should be gone as well. She looked embarrassed to even be there & she couldn't answer any questions because it would just make her look that much worse--typical bureaucrat.

Would love to see Fulmer make a great hire & I'll certainly give him credit if it happens but I don't believe he's out of the "good ole boy" network. I like Tee Martin like everyone else but it shouldn't be his time now here. Kiffin or Leach, preferably Leach. What other great hires are there out there? I said great, not good.

So the man that replaced the new AD as a HC which in turn started a spiral effect of epic failure for 9 years....which Fulmer mentioned 9 years a few times. You actually think Kiffin is getting a call by that man?

I guess I wasn’t watching the same press conference or hearing it correctly :dunno:

I agree. She looked like she was overwhelmed. I thought she was going to cry at a few points.

If Leach wants it, give it to him! I'll have to assume Petersen has already declined us at some point in time.
