Miles went into a hornets nest following Saban at LSU, he could not do anything right and still won big. Two years after being named head coach at LSU it got extremely intense for him when Saban was named head coach at Bama, and he still won in the face of daily criticism, in the SEC West, because he was not Nick Saban.
UT needs a head coach of steel to stabilize the program. There are only 2 other head coaches who could right the ship at UT and they aren't coming, Saban and Meyer.
Yup, and he will see the same thing here because his name isn't Jon Gruden.....:whistling:
I find it amusing the fact that people find issue with ever single coach that is mentioned. Hell, Chris Peterson is the best coach not named Meyer or Saban that is out there, and you would have people say things like "He got killed and out coached by Saban last year in the playoffs", "He has had all his success in weaker conferences, no way he could do it in the SEC"...and on and on and on.
Miles is a solid coach, and would be a great fit here.
