Robert G. Because he's the only coach worth a damn on the staff

Well excuse me for asking a pertinent question on a Vol discussion board after YOUR coach just got his a$$ handed to him in a blender.

I'm am relaxed and have a great life unlike (apparently) you....and, only a moron would suggest someone is "high" for asking a simple, plausible question after watching this storied program get bit**-slapped on national TV.

The obvious answer is Hoke right?

Agreed, and he's proven to be a decent coach. My biggest fear here is we might make the mistake of hiring him as head coach if he did well the rest of the season (a la LSU - Ed O).

Hoke was 31-20 at Michigan, and I wouldn't expect him to do any better than that here.

Hoke would be the logical choice since he's been a full-time head coach at a big time program most recently. Scott would probably be their second choice since he stepped in at Miami and actually did a good job for the rest of that one season he was interim. Shoop could also be an option. Personally I would go with Gillespie and give him the rest of the season to see what he could do. He may actually get the guys motivated to play and not play scared all the time.
