So, who quit?!

Jones was given instructions to raise the academic performance and clean up the off field reputation of the program. He did that. Pruitt comes from a school who can hide and cover up drug arrests, gun arrests, beatings of girlfriends. He'll find out that won't work in Knoxville.

Wait are you one of those Bammer conspiracy theorists? Or are you a Butch fan? If I'm not mistaken wasn't Butch in question of his own character about certain allegations seemingly not that long ago? Go follow Butch to... wait...

Speaking of moaning, why are you invested enough in my posts to follow me around and interject yourself into my comments toward another poster?

You don't like my opinions on how Pruitt handled the PC and how silly that Twitter post was, so be it. No need to start stalking me around the board.

That itself might actually be a bit cringeworthy.

*interrupts you replying to a poster about interrupting you replying to a poster*

If he sees you post something earlier and calls you out on it then proceeds to validate his argument with your recent history then that's not stalking. Sounds like you need to take some meds and watch some Bob Ross.

Did you mean to put this in Blue font? If not:lolabove:

Heh, it's not stalking when we're both reading all the same threads (VN.com isn't that huge) and I notice you being inconsistent from argument to argument. That's called being 'observant,' not 'stalking'. :)

How do I know you're not following ME from thread to thread? I think I may have posted before you in both these threads, after all....

EDIT: Yep, just checked. Sure did. I was engaged in both conversations before you ever showed up. LEAVE ME ALONE, STALKER!!!L@#KJ!!!! (hehe, just kidding to show how ridiculous your claim is).

Simple question. Why do you care if me or any other poster is being "inconsistent"?

And when did any of this elevate to "arguments"?

As I said earlier, you don't like my opinion, so be it. You're responses nor anyone elses aren't going to change my position on Pruitt's attitude after the O&W game or how silly that Twitter post was from UT highlighting players from other programs.

Have a good weekend. Looking forward to the next crayon dissertation from you next week.

If possible I would like to address a point I made earlier in this thread about the O&W game and players quitting. Did anyone else feel the WR's kind of gave up on their routes? Maybe it was just a timing thing but it seemed to me a lot of the overthrown passes were due to the WR slowing down or giving up on the route. Am I wrong?

Hawk, I might be mistaken but it seems like our receivers run a few choice routes. I don't know the specific instance you are talking about, but, I did see some passes thrown to areas of the field where either the receiver ran the wrong route or where he might have ran a choice route and the QB threw to the wrong spot.

If any post on here is having enough of an effect on you that you cringe, I'd suggest taking some pharmaceuticals to help yourself out. Maybe stepping away from the keyboard for awhile.

It's a football board, not turning keys on a nuclear launch.

You don't like my opinions, hit the ignore button.

I was just trying to do you a solid :), since it's obvious to everyone you're in the death throws of the ended coaching search.

You guys have got to be joking, ........ Jeremy “insulted” you? Look, I’m not going to make jabs about your feelings, but this is SEC football. It’s not about how the HFC markets a spring game (or doesn’t).
I am a long time season ticket holder, and was one of the folks he was addressing (I didn’t have to work, and could have attended), and I actually LOVE that Jeremy is not satisfied with anything. Perhaps he will spew more disgust in the weeks ahead (I am sure there will be plenty of it come fall, so hold on).
This guy means business people, and not business as usual. Like much of life, time will tell.
I wasn't talking about Pruitt azzhole. I was talking about the poster I was responding to.

They are giving him a chance because he is gifted but if he continues not giving effort and being beat on the line he won't start.

As for me not making a great sales pitch for the coaches, they are giving him all the tools look at Kyle Phillips he did extremely well. So this will by my last comment to you since you seem to not grasp that sometimes a player just doesn't have the will or the want to, to become a better player. In Kongbos place it's showing that he just doesn't have the drive at this moment to compete (something a coach can't necessarily fix - you can't make a kid want to but you can give him the tools to be able to).

Really impressed with your debut. Specially if this is your first VN effort (no previous screen names?). :hi:

It’s a strategy a lot of them use. Borne of frustration. :boredom:

Some of y'all talk like you're anxious to know. Like you're actually looking forward to seeing kids leave the program. Am I the only one who actually sees this as a sad event? It's nothing but unfortunate for some of these kids to lose their scholarships. And some of you act like it's an event to celebrate. Geez people, show some empathy. I'm not blaming the staff, I understand this is how college football works. I just dont think it's something we should cheer for either.

Actually, i believe the transfers are good for both parties most of the times. Some times a round peg needs to give up on a square hole and find the place where he fits. Both parties will be happier.

Butchna this is my first ever screen name. I've been reading this board for a while but just finally decided to post on it.

Also, did you ever watch the film on Tillman that we were talking about? I think he has a chance to start if he keeps up what he did in his film.

Now that I’ve watched Avengers Infinity, it’s near the top of my to do list. Would be a helluva story! Specially if he outperforms Jordan Young. :wink2:

Now I'm lost lol..... Jordan Young went to the Noles.... I am going to go out on a limb and state that you think Young is going to start at FSU and that since we lost Young hopefully Tillman is that replacement? This about in the ballpark? Lol

Pruitt practically discovered Young and he flipped to FSU almost immediately. Pruitt then drummed Tillman out of thin air on NSD. IF Tillman has a better career after that imbroglio? This reporter thinks that would be the shiznit!

I must find out which reporter you are. I will find out eventually. I agree hopefully it works out, especially since like you said no one even knew who the heck Tillman was.

The juniors who declared for the draft instead of playing their senior year, by definition, quit on their team. Gotta know that John Kelly, Khalil McKenzie, and Rashaan Gaulden would have really helped the 2018 Vols this fall get back to a bowl game.

Gaulden was there four years. He owes you nothing. Neither do the others. All got drafted taking chances on themselves. They get hurt or don’t adapt well to the changing schemes and go undrafted? None of you nancies spare a tear.

Not even close in my dictionary. Actually, IMO its silly.

Not singling you out, but I often wonder when I see similar posts if some of you hold yourself to the same standard as you do these young college football players.

Any player that leaves early to get paid to play is OK in my book. Even if they don't get drafted or sign a contract.
