Or maybe it's hard for you to comprehend that Pruitt called out his players in order to get them to work harder to get better. I don't know how many sports you might have played, however, I do know that I played sports my whole life to include baseball and football in college and sometimes you have to call out your guys to get them to perform. Pruitt gave them an ultimatum start putting in the work and give 100% or else one of these new guys coming in will take your spot.
It is pretty much that simple. I appreciate your analysis on the way I think though. Good try.
Not much of an analysis, just found it silly you bringing up players who aren't on campus yet and automatically building in an excuse for the sorry defensive showing.
In your vast experience as a seasoned athlete, how many of your coaches had to get in front of a mic and the media to motivate their teams?
The really good ones can usually get that done on the practice field and scrimmages, not through the media after their team embarrasses themselves.
Pruitt was ticked off and had every right to be after that defensive showing. He didn't need to complain about the fans and call his guys quitters in front of everyone to motivate them though. If he does, then he may not be much of a coach.
You'd think with your vast experience as an athlete you'd pick up on a simple concept that I learned early on....keep that s**t in the locker room .
