They should announce (asap) that Butch is done at the end of the year, let him live with it and other programs can see how he responds for the remainder of this year.

And get the deal done with Petrino (ASAP)!!!!!!

He is that kind of coach that would leave his team during the season. If we want him then UTAD shouldn't wait.

Butch. No reason to send another out there....let him finish his term and turn the reins over to another after that. It's going to be ugly next week.

I think the players like L . Scott and would play hard. At the end of the year you clean house and hire someone that can save recruits. The question is who is out there that is willing to come? And Currie has never hired a FB coach. The job is not as attractive as most UT fans like to think.

I don't want to wait until after Bama. I want to try to win games. CBJ will not even come close to staying within 4 scores of Bama. He probably has two games left that we will be favored in and those might be all he wins.

I would rather Hoke be interim, get a say in who starts, tweak the offense to start reducing the 3 and outs, and have someone who is trying to win as opposed to a dead man walking. To hell with CBJ. This team is just too loaded to waste even another practice. Bama is a long shot but we still have plenty of games left.

The more Tennessee improves the better chance a big time coach calls Tennessee home. This Tennessee team is not improving under Butch and most of that is due to horrible play calling that he is allowing. Butch seems to have something against playing the best players and calling high success rate plays at the right times.

Scott is a joke and should be let go with Butch. Our offense has gone backwards since he took over play calling.

Keep Butch for that one. I'd like one more trip around the block about complementary football and snap and clear and leadership snaps with 66-3 behind him on the scoreboard.

Forgive me for not recalling but the running back coach has the most productive unit. Maybe he should be interm HC.

I think it's probably Butch, as long as they can find him. I hear he got lost coming home from the game and couldn't find his house. Someone put an end zone in front of it.

Letting Butch coach this game is a pretty big risk if they are sure they want to move on. What if he wins? Then you are stuck with him like LSU was with Miles after he upset AM. Also if he is done he could basically go completely the other way and deliver a program and rivalry destroying loss. A win or a blow out is bad either way for the program. Got to pull the trigger now.

Interim has to be Shoop. Our defense played fine today for our offense to put up points. I want to see what Shoop can do without Butch handcuffing him. I prefer him over Loser Hoke or allowing Larry Scott to dictate offense and the team as a whole.

Let Shoop coach this thing out and let him atleast have an audition to the next coach about being held over on the new staff.

Butch has to go now. Alabama is a loss so you're trying to maintain for the rest of the year. He CANNOT be allowed to coach another game. There's no point but to destroy your fan base and recruiting.
