I do not want to get back into the coaching carousel. I am not completely put this on Heupel, I think it has been difficult to recruit 5 star players to TN. QUESTION: Could you recruit a 5 star.

This may be the dumbest question on this board and I see it daily. Was JH a sure fire upgrade? We had no idea and we hired him. You don’t get any guarantees when hiring. You decide you want better, you make a move, and it works or it doesn’t.

It wasn't hard for Fulmer to recruit 5* guys to TN. It's definitely not hard to recruit high level players to TN, but you've gotta have good recruiters and Coach's that can develop. We have neither.

Ron Roberts or another Sunseri. Hiring a DC who has a good defense at one place doesn’t ensure it will be so at the next, and after Bob Shoop, Banks, Sunseri(wasn’t DC but LB coach for winning defenses), we should know this.

Oh yes I’m sure you are a coach hiring messiah. I bet you were on the moon when we hired a coach from the “saban tree” because it was a “guarantee”. You don’t get any guarantees period. The AD hires someone who has won some games and puts on a few good talking points in interviews. Then it works or it doesn’t.

It really doesn't matter about the staff. It's about fielding a complete team. A complete team will cost 50 million next season.
